A electronic grinder includes a main body removably attached to a grinding and dispensing chamber. The top of the main body is sealed by an upper cab and the bottom of the chamber is sealed by an openable lower cap. The main chamber includes a motor connected to a magnetically attached removable blade. The blade extends into the chamber when the grinder is assembled. When the lower cap is closed, the blade grinds material placed in the chamber. When the lower cap is opened, the blade functions as a fan to dispense ground material out of the chamber. The grinder includes a cutter having wall blades projecting from a chamber-defining wall toward a central axis of the chamber; a motor-driven shaft rotatable about the central axis, and shaft blades projecting radially from the shaft. The grinder includes conical bun members with an adjustable gap for coarseness. Even when the grinder section and the holder section are attached to each other, the wrapper is user-accessible if the holder is in its non-aligned position.

Method and apparatus of processing whole tobacco plants
A method and apparatus are provided for processing whole tobacco plants. The method includes cutting the whole tobacco plants into segments in a segmenter assembly, classifying the segments by leaf characteristics, separating leaf material from a waste material stream of undesirable stalk and shatter material for each class of leaf characteristics and reclaiming portions of leaf material trapped in the waste material and recycling the reclaimed portions of leaf material to the segmenter assembly. The apparatus includes a stalk segmenter assembly, a processor assembly, a plurality of cleaning conveyor modules and a cyclonic separator system to reclaim small bits of leaf from the waste stream and return them through a rotary airlock to the segmenter assembly for reprocessing.
