PNEUMATIC MIXING VALVE
20170016555 · 2017-01-19 · ·

A pneumatic mixing valve is provided, which includes a housing that defines a first inlet, a second inlet and an outlet. The first inlet is coupled to a first fluid source and the second inlet is coupled to a second fluid source. The housing defines a first chamber and a second chamber. The pneumatic mixing valve includes a mixing system. The mixing system includes a piston that is movable by at least one of the first fluid and the second fluid. The housing defines a fluid passageway that extends from near the first inlet to the second chamber and the pneumatic mixing valve includes an actuator that is movable between a first position and a second position. In the first position, the fluid passageway is closed such the outlet is open, and in the second position, the fluid passageway is open such that the outlet is closed.

Modular valve apparatus and system

A valved manifold module is disclosed, constructed and arranged to be readily connected in a chain with similar modules to form a manifold assembly. The modular manifolds allows for expansion or modification of the manifold assembly to control a group of pneumatically or hydraulically driven pumps, valves or combinations thereof in a liquid flow control apparatus. The valved manifold module can be configured to accept a group of four substantially identical valve assemblies, and can be controlled by a local controller mounted to the manifold module, thus forming an independently programmable valved manifold module. The resulting modular system is expandable to allow for coordinated operations of a liquid flow control system, using substantially independent controller functions originating at the manifold assembly level.

MAGNETICALLY ACTUATABLE VALVE DEVICE

A magnetically actuatable valve device, including an inner chamber delimited by at least one wall of magnetizable material, which wall forms a valve seat, and a magnet arrangement which generates a magnetic circuit with magnetic flux running in the magnetizable wall, and at least one magnetizable valve body which is moveable in the inner chamber, wherein at least one intermediate element is arranged in the wall extending around the inner chamber and with reduced magnetic conductivity in comparison with the wall, wherein the intermediate element includes a recess where a projection of the wall extends, where two magnetizable guide elements are arranged in the inner chamber on opposite sides of the valve body; and offset to the recess, wherein the guide elements guide the valve body and together with the wall form the magnetic circuit, wherein magnetic flux runs through the wall, the valve body, and guide elements.

Solenoid valve

A solenoid valve for controlling a fluid flow comprises an actuating member moveable between a first position and a second position. Movement of the actuating member in one direction effects opening of the valve and movement of the actuating member in an opposite direction effects closing of the valve. The solenoid valve comprises a biasing member for biasing the actuating member towards the first position; and an armature moveable in response to energising/de-energising of the solenoid valve. Energising the solenoid valve is operable to move the armature to engage the actuating member and cause movement of the actuating member to the second position against the biasing member. De-energising the solenoid valve allows the biasing member to effect movement of the armature and the actuating member towards the first position, initially causing disengagement of the armature from the actuating member, and, subsequently causing retainment of the armature in a resting position.

THREE-WAY VALVE

A three-way valve is provided. The three-way valve comprises a housing having three successive openings interconnected by a fluid flow path; a vent ball and a corresponding vent ball seat; a supply ball and a corresponding supply ball seat; and a separator pin between, and configured to bear against, the vent ball and the supply ball. The valve further comprises: a resilient element for biasing the supply ball towards the supply ball seat. A damper is also provided.
