RECESSED LIGHT-EMITTING DIODE LIGHTING FIXTURE
A recessed lighting fixture comprises a generally annular body having a central cavity in the form of a partially spherical socket. There is a lighting support member having a partially spherical exterior portion which is closely fitted within the partially spherical socket of the annular body. The lighting support member is pivotable relative to the annular body, but air flow between the partially spherical socket of the annular body and the partially spherical exterior portion of the lighting support member is substantially restricted. There may be a light source mounted to the lighting support member adjacent a bottom thereof. The light source may be a light-emitting diode.
ROTATABLE RETROFIT TRIM LIGHTING DEVICE
A retrofit trim lighting device is provided. In example embodiments, the retrofit trim lighting device comprises a bracket comprising an opening; at least one torsion spring secured to the bracket and configured to mount the retrofit trim lighting device within a recessed housing; a retrofit housing comprising at least one light engine; and an engagement element. The engagement element is secured to the retrofit housing through the opening of the bracket such that, when so secured, the retrofit housing and the bracket are rotatable relative to one another.
ANGLE ADJUSTMENT DEVICE AND LIGHTING DEVICE
An angle adjustment device of an embodiment includes a first rotational unit and a spring member. The first rotational unit is supported by a frame body, and rotationally moves around a first rotating shaft that passes through the frame body and that is disposed along an opening surface of the frame body, by a driving force of a driving source with an object to be operated. The spring member urges the first rotational unit in a single direction of a rotational direction.
PLASTIC DOWNLIGHT FIXTURE HAVING INTERLOCKING ATTACHMENT FEATURES
A downlight fixture is disclosed, and includes a lens defining at least one lens opening, a reflector, and a housing. The reflector defines at least one first retaining feature and at least one second retaining feature. The at least one lens opening is shaped to receive a corresponding first reflector retaining feature to interlock the lens and the reflector with one another. The housing defines at least one housing opening shaped to receive a corresponding second retaining feature to interlock the housing and the reflector with one another. The lens, the reflector, and the housing are each constructed of plastic.
LED light engines
An LED light engine includes a housing, one or more LEDs mounted on a printed circuit board and a retention feature engaged with the housing. The retention feature includes one or more of a torsion spring and a friction clip and is configured to engage an inside wall of a recessed lighting can, thereby retaining the LED light engine within the can. The LED light engine may also include a reflector and a lens retained within the housing, with the housing, reflector and lens forming a sealed chamber for protecting the LED components from external environmental conditions. Methods for retrofitting an existing recessed downlight fixture with an LED light engine include removing the existing light engine from the recessed lighting can and inserting an LED light engine into the can.
Luminaire ceiling mounting mechanism
Provided is a device including a base configured for attachment to a lighting fixture. The device also includes an engagement mechanism having first and second portions configured for mounting the lighting fixture within a recess of a substantially flat member having first and second ends. The engagement mechanism facilitates movement of the lighting fixture within the recess from the first end towards the second end, the movement (i) being responsive to an applied force and (ii) occurring in only a single direction. The first portion engages a first surface of the member and the second portion engages a second surface of the member when the lighting fixture reaches the second end.
Fastening system for flush mounting a device and flush-mountable device
The present invention is based on a fastening system for flush mounting a device in a wall and/or ceiling and/or similar through a hole and on the device that comprises the fastening system, wherein said fastening system comprises a gripping means and a securing system. The fastening system enables the device to be flush mounted in a wall and/or ceiling and/or similar through a hole such that the perimeter of the visible face of the device is flush with the wall and/or ceiling and/or similar.
A COLLAR FOR A RECESSED LIGHT FITTING
The present disclosures provides a collar for positioning at least partially around a recessed light fitting and between the recessed light fitting and a structural body. The collar comprises a plurality of collar portions each of which are configured to surround a portion of the recessed light fitting.
Modular lighting fixture
A modular lighting fixture that is capable of receiving interchangeable functional modules includes a body having a main portion and a second portion. The main portion has a hollow interior defining an interior space extending in a longitudinal direction from a first open end of the main portion to a second end of the main portion. The second portion is provided at the first end and extends outwardly in a transverse direction, wherein the interior space is configured to receive and retain a functional module configured to provide non-light emitting function. A light emitting means is provided on the second portion of the body and configured to emit light.
