A branch passage which branches off from a portion of a supply passage on the downstream side of a supply control valve and communicates with a suction chamber is provided, and when providing a release control valve which, while allowing working fluid to flow, moves in response to the differential pressure between the downstream side pressure of the supply control valve and the pressure of a control pressure chamber on the supply passage, while preventing the movement of a valve element from being inhibited by a foreign substance in refrigerant, a leakage of the refrigerant into a suction chamber is suppressed when supplying the refrigerant from a discharge chamber to the control pressure chamber via the supply passage, enhancing control performance.

A release control valve 51 has a valve element 60 including a valve body 62 which, being disposed, in a valve housing space 50 provided on a supply passage 40, so as to be movable in an axial direction of the valve housing space 50, varies the degree of opening of the communication between a control pressure chamber 4 and a branch passage 43, and a flange 63 which is abutted, in an axial direction of the valve housing space, against a shoulder 52 formed on the inner peripheral wall of the valve housing space 50, thereby sealing between the valve body 62 and the inner peripheral wall of the valve housing space 50, wherein a configuration is such that the branch passage 43 is covered by the valve body 62 in a state in which the flange 63 is abutted against the shoulder 52.

A control valve includes: a body having a control chamber communication port and a suction chamber communication port; a valve element that moves toward and away from a valve hole to close and opening a bleed valve, the ports communicating with each other through the valve hole; a solenoid to generate a drive force in an opening direction of the bleed valve; and a pressure sensing element to sense a pressure in the suction chamber or a pressure in the control chamber, and generate a counterforce against the drive force from the solenoid depending on a magnitude of the sensed pressure. An opening degree of the bleed valve is controlled so that the sensed pressure becomes a set pressure. A bleed passage for delivering the refrigerant introduced through the control chamber communication port to the suction chamber even while the bleed valve is in a closed state is formed.

Control Device For A Compressor, A Compressor With The Same, And An Air Conditioning System Including Control Device And Compressor

A compressor control module (CCM) controls an output of a variable displacement swash plate compressor. The CCM directly calculates, or receives from an external source, a signal indicating a desired or required output from the compressor, receives a current value of the desired or required output, and receives or calculates a current rotation speed and angle, with respect to a rotation axis, of a swash plate, or a current piston stroke length and a reciprocating frequency of the compressor. The CCM determines a difference between the desired or required output from the compressor and the current value and outputs a signal to a valve driving unit which will adjust an angle of a swash plate such that the actual value becomes closer to, or the same as, the desired or required output, taking into account the additional values received or calculated in the receives or calculates step.

Variable displacement swash plate type compressor

A variable displacement swash plate type compressor includes a first and a second valve body, and a suction and a bleed window. An open degree of the suction window is minimized by the first valve body and an open degree of the bleed window is maximized by the second valve body when a suction pressure is lower than a predetermined suction pressure and a crank chamber pressure is higher than a control pressure. The open degree of the suction window is increased and the open degree of the bleed window is maximized when the suction pressure is higher than the predetermined suction pressure and the crank chamber pressure is higher than the control pressure. The open degree of the suction window and the open degree of the bleed window are decreased when the crank chamber pressure is lower than the control pressure.
