The half bearing further includes a plurality of axial narrow grooves and a plurality of circumferential narrow grooves that are formed further back away from the groove surface toward the radially outer side, and extend in circumferential and axial directions, respectively, so as to cross each other. A depth of the axial narrow groove from the groove surface is greater than a depth of the circumferential narrow groove from the groove surface, and a width of the axial narrow groove on the groove surface is greater than a width of the circumferential narrow groove on the groove surface.
SLIDING COMPONENT
A sliding component includes a dynamic pressure generation groove configured for generating dynamic pressure on a sliding surface, which groove includes an introduction port formed in one end side of the groove in a circumferential direction and which is open to a sealing target fluid H side, a throttle portion communicating with the introduction port and having a narrowed flow path, and a lead-out port formed on the other end side of the groove, which communicates with the throttle portion and which is open to the sealing target fluid side.
SLIDE BEARING, IN PARTICULAR FOR A GEARBOX OF A WIND TURBINE
A sliding bearing for a gearbox of a wind turbine, having a support body and a sliding layer which is applied on the support body, and on which a sliding surface is formed, wherein a lubricant distribution groove extending in an axial direction of the sliding surface is formed on the sliding surface. The support body is formed as a bush rolled from a support body strip, wherein a first longitudinal end and a second longitudinal end of the support body strip are connected to one another in a materially bonded manner, in particular by a welding connection, at a joint, wherein the joint is formed in the region of the lubricant distribution groove.
BEARING ASSEMBLY FOR TUFTING MACHINE CUTTING ATTACHMENT
A shaft assembly has a shaft and a journal bearing that is fixedly coupled to the shaft so that rotation of the shaft causes corresponding rotation of the journal bearing. A bearing race has an inner surface that defines a cylindrical bore and a lubrication groove that extends radially outward from the cylindrical bore. The journal bearing is rotatably disposed within the cylindrical bore of the bearing race.
Thrust washer
A thrust washer according to an embodiment has an annular washer body having a first thrust surface and a second thrust surface that receive a thrust load, and a tapered portion formed on at least one of the first thrust surface and the second thrust surface, and the washer body has a waviness larger than a difference in height of the tapered portion in a direction perpendicular to the thrust surface.
Half bearing and sliding bearing
Provided is a half bearing constituting a sliding bearing for a shaft member of an internal combustion engine that is unlikely to cause seizure in a sliding surface even if deflection or whirling of the shaft member occurs during an operation of the internal combustion engine. In a half bearing that constitutes a sliding bearing, a plurality of circumferential-direction grooves are formed to be adjacent to each other in a sliding surface, the sliding surface includes a plane portion that is parallel to an axial line direction and an inclined surface portion that is adjacent to the plane portion, the inclined surface portion is displaced from the plane portion toward an end portion of the sliding surface in the axial line direction such that the sliding surface successively comes close to a back surface, positions of maximum groove depths of the circumferential-direction grooves are located on groove center lines, the groove center lines in the inclined surface portion of the sliding surface are inclined relative to a vertical line toward the end portion of the sliding surface in the axial line direction, a groove inclination angle of the circumferential-direction groove that is the closest to the plane portion is a minimum angle, and the groove inclination angle successively increases toward the end portion of the sliding surface in the axial line direction.
Torsion bushings and related assemblies
A torsion bushing includes a body portion defining a torsion rod-receiving bore, one or more helical flexion ribs defining at least a portion of the torsion rod-receiving bore, and a helical lubrication reservoir adjacent to the one or more helical flexion ribs. The torsion bushing may be included in a torsion busing assembly that further includes a bracket. The bracket may have a saddle to receive the torsion bushing, and one or more flanges for coupling the bracket to a frame. The torsion bushing may be included in a torsion rod assembly that further includes the bracket and a torsion rod.
Blood pumps
A blood flow assist system can include an impeller assembly including an impeller shaft and an impeller on the impeller shaft, a primary flow pathway disposed along an exterior surface of the impeller. The system can include a rotor assembly at a proximal portion of the impeller shaft. A secondary flow pathway can be disposed along a lumen of the impeller shaft. During operation of the blood flow assist system, blood can be pumped proximally along the primary flow pathway and the secondary flow pathway. The system can include a sleeve bearing distal the impeller. The system can include a drive unit having a distal end disposed distal a proximal end of the second impeller. The drive unit comprising a drive magnet and a drive bearing between the drive magnet and the impeller assembly.
Inner half-ring for a spherical plain bearing
An inner half-ring of a spherical plain bearing has a spherical outer surface, a cylindrical inner surface, and a first flat front face and a second flat front face delimiting the half-ring in a circumferential direction. The first and second flat front faces extend between the outer surface and the inner surface, and a first central groove is formed in the first front face and extends between the outer surface and the inner surface.
Half thrust bearing and bearing device for crankshaft of internal combustion engine
A half thrust bearing for a crankshaft of an internal combustion engine is formed of a back metal layer and a bearing alloy layer to have a slide surface and two thrust reliefs. Each thrust relieve includes a first region, where the back metal layer is exposed, on a circumferential end surface side, and a second region, where the bearing alloy layer is exposed, on the slide surface side while the slide surface includes two third regions adjacent to the second region, and a fourth region between the two third regions.
