Outer race rotation bearing
09850955 · 2017-12-26 · ·

In an outer race rotation bearing in which an outer race rotates, a mounting portion is fitted in each annular groove of the outer race. A pair of seals are provided which close the respective axial ends of an annular space defined between a fixed inner race and the outer race. Each of the seals has an elastic lip which protrudes toward the interior of the bearing, and which is kept in close contact with a groove edge portion of the annular groove from the inner peripheral side of the outer race. In this arrangement, when the seals are pressed axially outwardly by grease to which centrifugal force is applied, the grease leakage preventing lips of the respective seals function as lids to close the gaps generated between the mounting portions and the annular grooves, thereby making it possible to prevent grease from leaking through these gaps.

A seal configured to seal a gap between a first component and a second component to at least partially retain a fluid on a first side of the seal in a space between the first component and the second component, the seal including a seal body having a radially outer periphery and a central opening configured to receive the first component or the second component, at least one sensor configured to detect a characteristic of the fluid and an adapter. The at least one sensor is disposed on the adapter, and the adapter has a first portion extending through the seal body at a location spaced from and radially between the radially outer periphery and the central opening and a second portion axially abutting the seal body on the first side of the seal.

BEARING UNIT FOR AIR TURBINE

When compressed air does not act, a seal member is in contact with an outer periphery of an inner ring. When the compressed air acts, a contact area between the seal member and the outer periphery of the inner ring is reduced, as compared to when the compressed air does not act. Accordingly, it is possible to provide an air turbine bearing unit capable of promptly stopping rotation.

Seal and roller bearing

A roller bearing seal includes an insert part and a polymer part connected to the insert part, and the insert part includes an annular-disc-shaped middle section having a radially inner deflection and a radially outer deflection, and a first ratio (L2/L1) of an axial length (L2) of the outer deflection to an axial length (L1) of the inner deflection is less than 0.65.

Rolling bearing with wire races and retaining rib

The rolling bearing provides a first ring and second ring capable of rotating concentrically relative to one another, at least one first wire race mounted in the first ring, at least one second wire race mounted in the second ring, and at least one row of radial rollers radially interposed between raceways provided on the first and second wire races. The second ring comprises at least two guide flanges to axially retain therebetween the row of radial rollers. The first ring includes at least one retaining rib extending into the radial space that exists between the first and second rings and towards the second ring, the retaining rib protruding radially relative to the raceway of the first wire race.

BEARING WITH INTEGRATED SHUNT

A bearing assembly having an inner ring, outer ring, and a plurality of rolling elements and an integrated electrically conductive element, such as an electrical shunt system manufactured of bundled or braided conductive filaments.

The bearing integrated electrical shunt system consists of a fixed ring and an integrated electrically conductive element, such as bundled carbon fiber filaments, that contact a rotating ring. The integrated electrical conductive element can be integrated with the bearing seal.

Seal ring-equipped ball bearing

The present invention achieves construction for a seal ring-equipped ball bearing (1a) that allows the outer-diameter dimension of a load-bearing surface (35a) to be made large, allows a large contact area with a transmission gear (16) to be secured, and allows dynamic torque to be reduced. Seal lips (14a) of seal rings (4a) that cover opening sections on both sides of the seal ring-equipped ball bearing (1a) have a substantially horizontal V-shaped cross-section and are configured so that an outer-diameter-side inclined section (25) and an inner-diameter-side inclined section (26) are connected by a continuous portion (27). The inner-circumferential edge section of the inner-diameter-side inclined section (26), which is the tip-end edge of the seal lip (14a), is made to slide over the entire circumference of the outer peripheral surfaces of both end sections of an inner ring (8a), the end sections being cylindrical surfaces (30) without seal grooves. The angle (α.sub.1) of an inside-continuous surface (29) of the continuous portion (27) is at least 104°, and the overall length of the inner-diameter-side inclined section (26) is kept long by the continuous portion (27) entering radially inward into a wave-shaped retainer (10a).

SEALING ASSEMBLY AND METHOD FOR MONITORING DYNAMIC PROPERTIES OF A SEALING ASSEMBLY

The invention provides a sealing assembly that includes an elastic seal lip having a movable part. The seal lip is configured to be attached to a first part of a machine and to be in sliding contact with a second part of the machine. It is proposed that at least one vibration sensor is fixed to the movable part of the seal lip.

Bearing seal and rolling bearing with seal

A bearing seal is fitted into a seal groove formed in an outer race, and firmly mounted to the outer race. First detent ribs and second detent ribs are formed on both surfaces of one side of a seal base plate made of rubber and having the shape of a strip. When one side of the seal base plate is fitted into the seal groove formed in an inner diameter surface of the outer race, the first detent ribs and second detent ribs come into elastic contact with the side surfaces of the seal groove, respectively, so as to prevent the bearing seal from being pulled out of the seal groove.
