Bearing ring, method for manufacturing such a ring and bearing comprising such a ring
A bearing ring comprising at least one jamming bead of a seal, each bead protruding relative to a radial surface of the ring, in an orthoradial direction relative to a central axis of the ring.
Engagement-disengagement, suspension or steering release bearing, and motor vehicle equipped with such a release bearing
An engagement-disengagement, suspension or steering release bearing. The release bearing includes a rolling bearing forming a member for transmitting an axial force and comprising a rotating ring and a non-rotating ring between which a rolling chamber is mounted for rolling bodies and a sealing gasket, which is mounted on a first ring among the rotating and non-rotating rings, and which comprises a framework, having an edge folded down radially toward a groove arranged on a surface of the first ring, and a fitting, having a sealing lip in sliding bearing against, or adjacent to, a corresponding surface of the second ring, The fitting of the seal is suitable for filling the groove of the first ring and part of the fitting is jammed between the folded down edge of the framework and the groove in the configuration with the seal mounted on the first ring.
ROLLING BEARING ARRANGEMENT
A bearing arrangement is disclosed having a bearing and a bearing support. The bearing is coupled to the bearing support at an axial side. The bearing provides first and second bearing rings that define a bearing interior there between. A first groove is formed at the first bearing ring's radial side facing the second bearing ring. A coupling element is arranged at the bearing's axial side facing the bearing support. The coupling element includes a first, preferably nose-shaped, radial protrusion that is in engagement with the first groove, and a second radial protrusion, which at least partially encompasses the bearing support at a side facing away from the bearing, so that the coupling element fastens the bearing to the bearing support. A coupling element for such a bearing arrangement is also provided.
BEARING SEAL WITH INTEGRATED GROUNDING BRUSH
A rolling bearing assembly with electrical discharge damage protection is provided. The assembly includes a seal extending radially between a radially outer bearing ring and a radially inner bearing ring. The seal includes a fixed seal end that is fixed to one of the radially inner or outer bearing rings and a flexible sealing lip that contacts the other one of the radially inner or outer bearing rings. At least one electrically conductive ring includes a first ring end that contacts one of the radially inner or outer bearing rings at the fixed seal end. The seal is integrally connected to the at least one electrically conductive ring. Electrically conductive brush filaments are fixed to the at least one electrically conductive ring, and the brush filaments contact the other one of the radially inner or outer bearing rings opposite from the fixed seal end.
BEARING RING AND ROLLER BEARING HAVING SAID BEARING RING
Partially diffusion-alloyed steel powder is subjected to compression molding and then sintered to form a sintered metal material (10), and a raceway surface (2) is formed on the sintered metal material (10) through plastic working, to thereby manufacture a raceway ring (1). With at least a risk volume of the raceway ring (1) being adopted as a prediction volume, a square root area.sub.max of the maximum pore envelope area estimated to be present at least in the prediction volume is set to be less than 50 m. With this, there is provided a raceway ring for a rolling bearing that has an increased rolling fatigue life at low cost.
Rolling bearing
A rolling bearing includes an outer ring, an inner ring in which a shoulder diameter at one end of the rolling bearing in an axial direction is different from a shoulder diameter at the other end of the rolling bearing in the axial direction, a cage, a plurality of rolling elements, and shielding portions. A first clearance between an outer ring inner peripheral surface facing a large end of the inner ring having the larger shoulder diameter and a cage outer peripheral surface facing the outer ring inner peripheral surface is larger than a second clearance between an outer ring inner peripheral surface facing a small end of the inner ring having the smaller shoulder diameter and a cage outer peripheral surface facing the outer ring inner peripheral surface.
Non-contacting fiber laminate bearing seal
A rolling bearing assembly including an elastomeric seal arranged at least partially within a circumferentially extending groove of a bearing ring is provided. The elastomeric seal is arranged between the radially inner ring and the radially outer ring. The elastomeric seal includes a radially outer end engaged within a first circumferentially extending groove of the radially outer ring, and a radially inner end extending radially inwardly towards the radially inner ring and arranged at least partially within the second circumferentially extending groove of the radially inner ring. Clearance is provided between the radially inner end of the elastomeric seal and the second circumferentially extending groove of the radially inner ring.
Grease-sealed bearing
To provide a grease-sealed bearing that is superior in fretting wear resistance and sealing performance when used under an oscillation condition with acceleration and deceleration such as a condition used in a robot joint. A grease-sealed bearing 1 includes an inner ring 2 and an outer ring 3 that are raceway rings, a plurality of rolling elements 4 interposed between the inner ring 2 and the outer ring 3, and a grease composition 7 sealed around the rolling elements 4. The bearing oscillates such that a bearing rotational direction changes while accelerating and decelerating. The grease composition contains a base oil and a thickener. The worked penetration of the grease composition is 310 or more. The thickener is a calcium sulfonate complex soap.
Lip seals and related methods
Seal assemblies, gaskets, bearing assemblies, and their components can be used as pre-packaged seal systems and pre-packaged seal and bearing systems. The seal assemblies can be orientated in different configurations for different applications. Gaskets or washers to restrict flow and gaskets or washers with memory lips to operate as sealing lips can be included to increase the number of sealing points. In a pre-packaged configuration, the cylinder can be a straight cylinder, a stepped cylinder, or a split cylinder. Bearing assemblies can be pre-packaged with the sealing assemblies and service grease may optionally be used to provide lubrication and limit fluid incursion into the spring cavities.
Bearing
A bearing (91), more particularly a radial anti-friction bearing, including a bearing ring (61) with a lateral surface (63) formed by at least one undercut (65), and at least one sealing element (93) having an elastomer portion (103) and an elastic retaining lip (99), wherein the elastomer portion of the sealing element is received in the undercut at least in some portions, wherein the lateral surface of the undercut has a contour (67) with a contact portion (69) for axially securing the elastic retaining lip, as well as an axial contact surface (71), on which an axial contact surface (101) of the elastomer portion of the sealing element lies flat, is provided.
