Injection control device
An injection control device controls fuel injection to an internal-combustion engine by driving a fuel injection valve with an electric current to open and close the valve. The injection control device includes a boost circuit boosting a battery voltage; a boost controller controlling the boosting of the boost circuit; and a charge control setter setting charge permission or charge prohibition of the boost circuit to the boost controller. The charge control setter sets the charge permission or charge prohibition of the boost circuit to the boost controller according to a magnitude of an influence of a drive current error.
Online monitoring and diagnostics in vehicle powertrains
Methods and systems for calculating a plurality of aging factors in a system operating an engine. The calculated aging factors may include one or more of fuel injector drift, exhaust gas recirculation valve obstruction, and mass air flow sensor bias. Mass flow throughout the system, and pressures and temperatures within the system, are observed in an approach that relies on mass preservation concepts to estimate drift, obstruction and bias estimates.
Method And Device For Operating An Internal Combustion Engine And Carrying Out A Correction Of The Fuel Injection Quantity By Correlation Of A Fuel Pressure Change
The disclosure relates to a method for operating an internal combustion engine which has at least one injector and in which a correction of fuel injection quantity is implemented. For the correction of the fuel injection quantity, different properties of the injector in the ballistic working range thereof and in the linear working range thereof are evaluated. A total injection quantity of the injector demanded in an operating cycle is divided into a number of smaller, equal partial injection quantities implemented as partial pulses, and an evaluation of the pressure drops triggered by the partial pulses is performed in the correction of the fuel injection quantity. The disclosure furthermore relates to a device for operating an internal combustion engine which has at least one injector and in which a correction of the fuel injection quantity is implemented.
Fuel injection control device
Provided is a technique for identifying a variation in an injection amount by estimating a valve opening start timing in an extremely small injection region of a half lift region. Therefore, a fuel injection control device according to the present invention estimates a valve opening start timing of a fuel injection valve by referring to a characteristic of a reference fuel injection valve acquired in advance.

A control device includes a drive unit configured to supply electric power to a fuel injection valve to perform valve open drive to supply fuel to a combustion chamber of an internal combustion engine; and a correction unit configured to correct a fuel injection amount of the fuel injection valve. The correction unit is configured to learn the fuel injection amount of the fuel injection valve when NOx purge is performed to reduce and purify the NOx occlusion catalyst.
INJECTION CONTROL DEVICE
An injection control device opens and closes a fuel injection valve by driving the fuel injection valve with a current to control fuel injection to an internal combustion engine. The injection control device includes: a booster circuit that boosts a battery voltage; a boosting control unit that performs boosting control on the booster circuit; and a charge control setting unit that sets charge permission or charge prohibition for the booster circuit to the boosting control unit.
INJECTION CONTROL DEVICE

The injection control device includes a boost circuit boosting a battery voltage; a boost controller controlling the boosting of the boost circuit; and a charge control setter setting charge permission or charge prohibition of the boost circuit to the boost controller. The charge control setter sets the charge permission or charge prohibition of the boost circuit to the boost controller according to a magnitude of an influence of a drive current error.
FUEL INJECTION CONTROL APPARATUS
The present invention provides a fuel injection control apparatus that can suppress variations in fuel injection amounts in a very small fuel injection region. For this purpose, the fuel injection control apparatus includes a fixed injection pulse generator 10 and a drive current interruption unit 31. The fixed injection pulse generator 10 generates a fixed injection pulse having a valve opening timing at which a drive current is supplied to an electromagnetic coil 19 in an electromagnetic fuel injection valve 18 and a first valve closing timing at which the drive current to the electromagnetic coil 19 is interrupted. Within a period in which the fixed injection pulse is generated, the drive current interruption unit 31 determines an electric energy amount of a drive current supplied to the electromagnetic coil in response to a valve opening timing of the fixed injection pulse. When this electric energy amount reaches a preset, predetermined target electrical energy amount, the drive current interruption unit generates a second valve closing timing of the fixed injection pulse different from the first valve closing timing and then interrupts the drive current supplied to the electromagnetic coil before the first valve closing timing.
Method for Operating an Internal Combustion Engine Performing an Injection Quantity Correction
A method for operating a combustion engine performing an injection quantity correction is described. A total injection quantity per pulse of an injector is divided into a plurality of smaller equal quantity pulses. The smaller quantity pulses are implemented in ballistic injector mode. On the basis of this step, a corresponding offset correction is carried out. After the offset correction has been applied, a further correction is carried out in linear injector mode. An additional alternative for performing an injection quantity correction without additional sensor hardware is thereby provided.
Internal combustion engine diagnostic method and internal combustion engine diagnostic device
A prescribed air-fuel ratio feedback control region for performing feedback-control of air-fuel ratio has therein: a first region where fuel is injected, during one combustion cycle, only from a first fuel injection valve injecting fuel directly into a cylinder; and a second region where fuel is injected, during one combustion cycle, from both of the first fuel injection valve and a second fuel injection valve injecting fuel into an air-intake passage. A second region is configured such that an amount of fuel injected from the first fuel injection valve and an amount of fuel injected from the second fuel injection valve remain at a given constant ratio regardless of operating status. A diagnosis on the first and second fuel injection valves is performed by using a first air-fuel ratio learning value learned in the first region and a second air-fuel ratio learning value learned in the second region.
