Start-up element with torsional vibration damper and vibration damper

A starting element has a torsional vibration damper coupleable with a drive with a drive-side input element rotatable against an action of a first spring element and a driven-side output component rotatable against the action of a second spring element arrangement around an axis of rotation. The driven-side output component is coupled with an output of the starting element. A hydrodynamic coupling device has a turbine and a turbine flange connected therewith fixed with respect to rotation. The turbine flange is coupled with the output to be fixed with respect to rotation a first connection. A tuned mass damper a mass damper support element coupled with an intermediate transmission arrangement by a second mechanical connection. The mass damper support element extends opposite to a radial direction perpendicular to the axis of rotation to a component of the output.

Damper

A damper includes a first, second, and third rotation member rotatable around a rotation axis, a first elastic portion interposed between the first rotation member and the second rotation member and elastically deformed by a relative rotation between the first rotation member and the second rotation member, a second elastic portion interposed between the second rotation member and the third rotation member and elastically deformed by a relative rotation between the second rotation member and the third rotation member, and a dynamic vibration absorber. The dynamic vibration absorber includes a rolling element that is positioned at an inner side relative to the first elastic portion and the second elastic portion in a radial direction of the rotation axis, and is rotatable relative to the second rotation member.

Damper assebmly sealing arrangement

A damper assembly for a motor vehicle drive train is provided. The damper assembly includes a spring retainer retaining arc springs; an engine-side cover for connecting to an engine crankshaft, the spring retainer being fixed to the engine-side cover; and a seal configuration between the engine-side cover and the spring retainer. The seal configuration, the engine-side cover and the spring retainer define an arc spring cavity for lubricating fluid to lubricate the arc springs. The seal configuration is configured to prevent lubricating fluid from radially exiting the arc spring cavity during rotation of the damper assembly about a center axis thereof. A method of forming a damper assembly is also provided.

DAMPER DEVICE

A damper device where the first and second elastic bodies are arranged side by side in a circumferential direction of the damper device, and the third and fourth elastic bodies are placed outside the first and second elastic bodies in a radial direction of the damper device so as to be arranged side by side in the circumferential direction.

DAMPER DEVICE

A damper device that includes a first torque transmission path including a first elastic body that transmits torque between the input element and the output element; and a second torque transmission path disposed in parallel with the first torque transmission path and including first and second intermediate elements, a second elastic body that transmits the torque between the input element and the first intermediate element, a third elastic body that transmits the torque between the first intermediate element and the second intermediate element, and a fourth elastic body that transmits the torque between the second intermediate element and the output element.

Torque converter with turbine mass absorber

A piston plate assembly for a torque converter comprising: an aperture including a chamfer portion; and, a bushing installed in the aperture and including a radius portion proximate the chamfer portion, wherein the bushing is arranged to seal the piston directly to a transmission input shaft and the radius portion is arranged to ease assembly of the bushing onto the input shaft.

DAMPER DEVICE

A damper device including an input to which power from an internal combustion engine is transmitted and an output, the damper device including: a first torque transmission path including a first elastic body that transmits torque between the input and the output; and a second torque transmission path disposed in parallel with the first torque transmission path and including an intermediate element, a second elastic body that transmits the torque between the input and the intermediate element, and a third elastic body that transmits the torque between the intermediate element and the output, wherein the second and third elastic bodies are placed outside the first elastic body in a radial direction of the damper device so as to be arranged side by side in a circumferential direction of the damper device.

A damper apparatus includes a first rotation member, a second rotation member, a first elastic portion interposed between the first and the second rotation members and elastically deformed by a relative rotation between the first and the second rotation members, a third rotation member, a second elastic portion interposed between the second and third rotation members and elastically deformed by a relative rotation between the second and third rotation members, and a dynamic vibration absorber. The dynamic vibration absorber includes an anchor member and a third elastic portion that is interposed between the anchor member and the second rotation member and that is elastically deformed by a relative rotation between the anchor member and the second rotation member. At least the third elastic portion is positioned at an inner side of the first elastic portion and the second elastic portion in a radial direction of the rotation axis.

Torsional vibration damper

A torsional vibration damper comprises an input side and an output side which are arranged rotatably around an axis of rotation, an intermediate plate, and two elastic elements which are arranged on different circumferences around the axis of rotation, where the first elastic element is set up to transmit a power from the input side to the intermediate plate and the second elastic element is set up to transmit a power from the intermediate plate to the output side.
