The invention relates to a brake pad assembly (10) for a vehicle disc brake (11), the brake pad assembly (10) comprising a lining carrier (12) and a brake lining layer (14) attached to the lining carrier (12), wherein the lining carrier (12) has a first portion and a second portion which are connected by at least one connecting portion (20) forming at least part of a side face (21) of the lining carrier (12), wherein the connecting portion (20) is elastically deformable upon braking.

BRAKE PAD RETAINER ARRANGEMENT

A brake pad retainer arrangement for holding a brake pad in position relative to a disc in a disc brake. The arrangement comprises an elongated retainer bracket arranged to extend transversely over the disc and the brake pad, wherein the retainer bracket is spring loaded to press against a rim portion of the brake pad. The retainer bracket is also arranged to engage the rim portion at an angle, thereby biasing the brake pad in a direction away from the disc.

DISC BRAKE COMPRISING AT LEAST ONE ELASTIC RETURN SPRING FOR A BRAKE PAD, ELASTIC RETURN SPRING, REPLACEMENT KIT AND MOUNTING METHOD

An elastic return spring for axially returning a brake pad of an automotive disc brake from an active position to an inactive position, the spring being intended to be interposed between the brake pad and a fixed support, with an elastic deformation portion, a carrier portion arranged to be fastened to the fixed support of the disc brake, and a pad portion. The carrier portion includes a support part and a connection part which including at least one connection fold arranged and configured to bear on an anchoring part of the fixed support and to cooperate with said anchoring part to avoid any lifting of the connection part.
