NON-SLIP RULER FOR MEASURING, MARKING AND/OR CUTTING FABRICS AND OTHER SOFT MATERIALS AND METHOD THEREOF
A device for measuring and cutting soft materials, wherein the device has a lower section and an upper section, the lower section having a bottom surface and a top surface, and at least one opening extending from the top surface to the lower surface. Bendable means on the upper section, and at least one piercing object carried by the bendable means, wherein the bendable means bends in response to a downward force applied to it, causing the piercing means to move through the opening and engage the soft material, said bendable means being self-retracting so that it returns to a natural resting position when the force ceases to exist, causing the piercing object to disengage from the soft material.
GAUGE INSPECTION JIG AND GAUGE INSPECTOR
A coupling portion has one end coupleable to a distal end of a measurement spindle. The measurement spindle is disposed on a gauge inspector and movable in a measurement axis direction. A cylindrical stem is insertable into a gauge holding member to hold the inserted stem. The stem slidably holds a spindle having a distal end on which a contact point of a gauge is disposed. A frame has a first end coupled to a second end of the coupling portion and has a second end to which the gauge holding member is mountable. The gauge holding member is held to the frame such that an axis of the stem runs along the measurement axis direction. As a result, inspection is performed easily and accurately in a reverse posture with a contact point facing upward when a gauge is inspected.
Wood-I floor beam square
An adjustable square for wooden I-beams the adjustable square being adapted for marking cut lines on an I-beam having parallel flanges with a connected web disposed there between. The adjustable I-beam square includes first and second tongue members adapted for engaging an outer surface of the first and second flanges respectively. The adjustable square for wooden I-beams further includes an adjustable blade assembly. First and second saddle members bridge the respective flanges and adjoin the tongue members with the adjustable blade assembly. The adjustable blade assembly extends in a plane perpendicular to the first and second tongue members.
Mounting tool for linear displacement measuring apparatus
There is provided a mounting tool, for a linear displacement measuring apparatus, which is capable of reducing thermal stress of a scale housing case and is detachable while having a simple structure. The mounting tool includes a cylindrical bush inserted into a through hole drilled in the scale housing case, an O-ring interposed between an inside wall of the through hole and the bush, a mounting screw inserted into a cylindrical hole of the bush and screwed into a mounting face, and a plate spring arranged between a head part of the mounting screw and an outside face of the scale housing case, and biasing the scale housing case toward the mounting face.
Rigid extendable measuring tool
A rigid extendable measuring tool (1) having a preferably rectangular-shaped tubular housing (2) having an inner extendable rule member (3) that slides into and out of the housing for accurately measuring between objects such as walls, floors and ceilings, which can be used easily by a single user without the need for a second set of hands.
WHEEL FLANGE HEIGHT DIFFERENCE DETECTION AND ANNULAR GROOVE BURR CLEARING DEVICE
A wheel flange height difference detection and annular groove burr clearing device includes a turntable, a detection platform, a first intelligent compression meter, a second intelligent compression meter, a first burr cutter, a second burr cutter and the like.
MEASURING SYSTEM
A measuring system comprising a measuring apparatus including a first portion comprising a first casing, a first length measuring body, a first length measuring device, and a first reference point. A first end of the first length measuring body is attached to the first casing, a second end extends away from the first casing, the first length measuring device measures a first distance between the second end and the first reference point; a second portion comprising a second casing, a second length measuring body, a second length measuring device, and a second reference point. A first end of the second length measuring body is attached to the second casing, a second end extends away from the second casing, the second length measuring device measures a second distance between the second end and the second reference point. The first and second portion are coupled and rotate relative to each other.
SEGMENTED, COMBINATION LEVEL AND SQUARE, HAVING SLIDING AND/OR MAGNETIC JOINT
The present invention relates to a segmented, combination level and square that has a sliding and/or magnetic joint. In a preferred embodiment, this hand tool provides the user with many optional tools in one. The tool can be configured as a spirit level, framing square or a pocket square. In a preferred embodiment, this multi-segmented combination tool also provides the user with a convenient way not only to configure a level, in one inch increments, to any length from twelve inches to at least ninety six inches in length, but also to create more than one tool at a time such as a pocket square and a framing square. In other preferred embodiments, the user is provided with optional features that enable them to carry on-site a single tool that can perform all tasks to do general construction layout such as roof framing.
Device for measuring an aquatic being
The present invention is a device for measuring an aquatic being. The device comprises a chamber and a semi-circular scale extending from the chamber. The chamber has a viewing window for allowing the user to visually inspect whether the nose of the fish is touching the base of the chamber. Scales are provided on the outer surface of the chamber to facilitate the measurement of the aquatic being placed within the chamber of the device. If the length of the aquatic being is longer than that of the chamber, another scale is provided on an inner surface of the semi-cylindrical scale, which facilitates the measurement of the aquatic being whose length extends beyond that of the chamber.
Tools for laying out framing members
A tool for laying out framing members includes a body comprising a blade and a tongue, the tongue oriented at a right angle to the blade in a common plane, wherein each of the blade and the tongue include indicia marking linear scales. Other indicia on the blade and tongue include information useful for building structures, such as roof structures. For example, indicia can include improved tables of data for marking and cutting rafters of various slope. Other indicia along the blade or the tongue indicate the length of the common rafter per foot of run as function of the slope.
