Gauge for Measuring Wear of a Brake Pad
A gauge for measuring wear of a brake pad of a brake includes a first component having a first longitudinal portion extending in a longitudinal direction; the first component further has a jaw extending transversely from said first longitudinal portion. The jaw has a first contact region configured to contact a first side of a brake assembly. A second component has a second longitudinal portion extending in the longitudinal direction and a scale portion. A slide is configured to longitudinally slide along the scale portion. The slide has a second contact region configured to contact a second side of the brake assembly. The first and second components are interconnectable in a first relative position and a second relative position. The first and second contact regions define a mutual distance indicative of a thickness of the brake pad when applied to a brake caliper with the brake applied.
Brake component measurement tool
A tool for measuring dimensions of disc brake components has an elongated first member. The elongated first member has a first tip extending transversely from the first member. The first tip has a first projection at an end portion of the first tip. An elongated second member is relatively movable to first member. The second member has a second tip extending transversely from the second member in the same direction as the first tip of the first member. The second tip has a second projection at an end portion of the second tip and extends in a direction towards the first projection. First indicia are provided on the first and second members to indicate the relative distance between the first and second projections when measuring an object located between the first and second projections. Second indicia are provided on the first and second members to indicate the relative distance between surfaces of the first and second tips when measuring spaced apart objects located outside of the first and second projections.

Method and apparatus to count people
Methods and apparatus to count people are disclosed. Example people counting apparatus disclosed herein include a difference calculator to calculate a degree of similarity between a first characteristic dataset and a second characteristic dataset representative of face detections in images. Disclosed example people counting apparatus also include a limiter to store the first characteristic dataset and the second characteristic dataset in a plurality of characteristic datasets associated when the degree of similarity does not satisfy a threshold, and to store the first characteristic dataset in the plurality of characteristic datasets and discard the second characteristic dataset when the degree of similarity satisfies the threshold to limit a number of stored characteristic datasets. Disclosed example people counting apparatus further include a comparator to compare the plurality of characteristic datasets to each other to determine a number of unique faces in an environment during a first period of time.
Device for measuring the thickness of automotive disc brake rotors
A vernier calliper for measuring the thickness of a disc brake rotor fitted to a vehicle, the vernier calliper including: (i) first and second members which are mounted for sliding movement relative to one another along an axis; (ii) first and second abutments located on the first and second members respectively and being adapted, in use, to engage first and second sides of a disc brake rotor, the first abutment including an abutment surface; (iii) retaining means for retaining the calliper in an operative position in which: (iv) the first abutment surface engages the first side of the disc and is parallel thereof; (v) the second abutment engages the second side of the disc; and (vi) said axis is orthogonal to said first and second sides of the disc.
Telescopic measuring device
The telescopic measuring device is a tool that enables a user to measure distances that might otherwise be beyond their reach. A measuring blade contained within a housing may be extended until a wear block at one end of the telescopic measuring device and an end hook at the other and of the telescopic measuring device span the distance to be measured. The measuring blade may then be locked into position using a clocking clamp and the measured distance may be read through a sighting window where a sight line will align with measurement indicia on the measuring blade.

RING SIZING TOOL
A ring sizing tool with a base and a guide movably coupled to the base. The base has first and second ends with a longitudinal axis extending between the ends. A cut guide surface is positioned adjacent the second end, and a base ring engaging surface is spaced apart from the cut guide surface. The guide has a guide ring engaging surface and at least one ring size indication spaced apart from the guide ring engaging surface. The guide is movable with respect to the base in a direction aligned with the longitudinal axis of the base between at least a first position, in which the guide ring engaging surface abuts the base ring engaging surface, and a second position, in which the guide ring engaging surface is spaced a distance from the base ring engaging surface. A method for sizing a ring with the ring sizing tool.
Rear shock tram gauge
A motorcycle frame rack enables a motorcycle frame to be repaired without removing many components from the motorcycle. A motorcycle is positioned on the motorcycle frame rack, secured in place and then the frame is adjusted using chains coupled to towers. A self-centering laser measuring system is able to be used to analyze and measure damage to the motorcycle frame.
