Method and apparatus for compliant robotic end-effector
A method and apparatus for performing an operation on a workpiece using a multi-axis compliant end-effector for attachment to a robotic device. The end-effector is positioned at a nominal location of a workpiece feature on which the operation is to be performed. The end-effector is passively aligned with the workpiece feature by contacting the end-effector with the workpiece feature. The operation is performed on the workpiece feature in response to aligning the end effector with the workpiece feature.

There is provided a connection unit for connecting an external device to a measurement device. Connection units 600 and 700 each include a flat plate shaped connection unit main part 610, a connector terminal 651 for measurement device provided at the connection unit main part 610 and connected to a signal inputting/outputting connection port 110 or 210 corresponding to each of measurement devices 100 to 400, and a connector terminal 660 for external device provided at the connection unit main part 610 and connected to a signal inputting/outputting connection port 511 of each of external devices 510 to 540. The connection unit main part 610 is further provided with a manually operable switch.
METHOD AND SYSTEM FOR MEASURING SEAL CONTACT
The present disclosure is directed toward a method for measuring a seal gap between a closing member and a fixed member. The method includes applying a liquid agent having transferable properties along one or more regions of a stamping member to form one or more base marks. The stamping member is one of the closing member or the fixed member. The method further includes engaging the closing member with the fixed member, disengaging the closing member from the fixed member, and assessing a seal gap between the closing member and the fixed member based on one or more remnant patterns formed on an imprinted member. The imprinted member is the other one of the closing member and the fixed member, and the remnant patterns are formed by the transfer of the liquid agent from the base marks.
Ischial tuberosity measurement tool
A tool which incorporates separated dual-impression pads for measuring the Ischial Tuberosity width of a cyclist more accurately since these dual-impression pads match the newer saddles designs. The accuracy of the measurement is further increased by heavy ferrous balls that indefinitely hold the impressions to give the bike fitter enough time to make an accurate Ischial Tuberosity width measurement. The accuracy of the saddle selection is further increased due to the detachable/portable measurement caliper which can be taken out to the saddles being considered.
SURGICAL DEPTH INSTRUMENT HAVING NEUROMONITORING CAPABILITIES
A device configured to provide a faster and more accurate measurement of depths of holes for placement of bone screws and fastener for bone implant fixation procedures. The device includes a combination of a bone probe for physical examination of a hole drilled in a bone and a depth gauge member for determining a depth of the hole and providing digital measurement of the depth via a display on the instrument and/or via a wireless exchange of measurement data to a remote computing device, such as a tablet or smartphone. The device may further be connected to a separate neuromonitoring device and be used for nerve sensing and/or nerve stimulation by way of the bone probe. For example, the bone probe may include a conductive material such that the distal probe tip acts as an extension of the neuromonitoring device and may be used to sense and/or stimulate nerves.
Scale
In a scale constituted by a plurality of scale lines, to provide such a scale capable of easily reading scale values. In a scale main body having a predetermined size and a plurality of scale lines formed thereon, temporary numbers are put one by one from 0 in an ascending order on the respective scale lines formed at each scale value interval desirably determined, with the scale line defined as 0 in the scale value being set as a starting point, and display methods between the scale line with the numeral 2, 3, 7 or 8 set at the lowermost position of the temporary number and the scale line with the numeral 1, 4, 6 or 9 set at the lowermost position of the temporary number are made different.
