MEASURING TOOL ATTACHMENT COVER
There is provided a measuring tool attachment cover that combines ease of holding and performance (for example, heat insulation). An attachment cover includes a front face layer 110, a rear face layer 120 and an intermediate layer 130. The front face layer 110 and the rear face layer 120 are compact layers with low porosity, and the intermediate layer 130 is a hollow structural layer with higher porosity than the front face layer 110 and the rear face layer 120. The hollow structural layer includes two or more layers with different porosity, and a layer of the two or more layers closer to the front face has higher porosity than a layer closer to the rear face. A direction from the rear face layer 120 to the front face layer 110 is a thickness direction, and a direction orthogonal to the thickness direction is a width direction. The hollow structural layer has elastic modulus distribution in the width direction, and an elastic modulus of a certain area is different from an elastic modulus of an area surrounding the certain area.

Carpenter pencil caliper
Carpenter pencil caliper is a two-piece device that attaches to a carpenter's pencil with a scale, ruler imprint, or rule imprint on the carpenter's pencil wherein this three-piece assembly is then used as a caliper to measure the length, width, and/or height of a workpiece. This three-piece assembly may also be used to mark or scribe a line in a workpiece at a specific, precise, or measured location and/or mark or scribe a specifically sized or measured circle in a workpiece at a specific, precise, or measured location. The two-piece device is a specially designed and shaped to reversibly attach to a standard sized carpenter's pencil in order to perform the marking and/or scribing of the workpiece. A workpiece is a piece of building material such as wood, composite, or metal that is used to build a structure or a device.
GAGE ASSEMBLY
A gage assembly includes a base having an arm configured to move between an open position and a closed position and a clamp fixed to the base. The clamp includes a handle configured to move between a first position and a second position. The clamp also includes a clamp extension configured to move between an open position and a closed position. The movement of the handle corresponds with movement of the clamp extension between the first position and the second position and of the arm between the open position and the closed position such that when the handle is in the first position the arm and the clamp extension are in the open position and when the handle is in the second position the arm and the clamp extension are in the closed position.

Multipurpose Woodworking Gauge
A woodworking gauge for use with a boring, drilling or cutting mechanism having a support surface and a cutting implement disposed on and extending through the support surface includes a pair of alignment blocks joined by a pair of connecting rods. The rods are slidably positioned within bores extending through each of the alignment blocks and can be fixed with regard to the alignment blocks by clamps disposed on the blocks. One alignment block includes a channel lock that is engaged with the support surface to secure the alignment block in a stationary position on the support surface. The remaining alignment block includes a cutting implement-engaging insert to be positioned against the boring, drilling or cutting blade. The position of the connecting rods extending past the alignment block engaged with the blade enables a cutting fence to be positioned to achieve the desired depth cut within the material workpiece.

MEASURING INSTRUMENT
A measuring instrument includes a measuring unit, an electric component unit and a pin jack. The electric component unit includes a signal processing part. The signal processing part is configured to calculate a measurement data based on a detection signal obtained by the measuring unit. The pin jack is provided in the electric component unit.
Controllable caliper
An embodiment of the invention is directed to an electronic caliper which combines positioning and measurement in one unit without the use of hydraulics for subsea use. In certain embodiments, several attachments can be affixed to accommodate a range of measurement tasks. In a preferred embodiment, one jaw is adjustable and the other, or opposing, jaw is fixed to a mounting structure. The jaws typically allow for the removal and replacement of other attachments. In another embodiment, the unit communicates to computer software for position control, precise indication and clamping for adjustment. In a preferred embodiment, computer software displays all feedback via laptop computer on surface. The caliper is maneuvered to a position proximate an object and used to measure a predetermined physical characteristic of the object. The measurement can be displayed using a computer with control software.
