DEVICE FOR IDENTIFYING CENTER OF STRIKING FACE OF A WOOD-TYPE GOLF CLUB HEAD
A device and method for identifying a center of a striking face of a golf club head are disclosed. The center determining device includes a device body having a central opening defined through a first surface of said device body and a second surface opposite said first surface. A first dimension indicator including a pair of first indicator jaws and a second dimension indicator including a pair of second indicator jaws may be disposed on said device body. A first adjuster and a second adjuster are operable to adjust said first separation distance said pair of first indicator jaws and a second separation distance between said second indicator jaws. When the pair of first indicator jaws and the pair of second indicator jaws are equally spaced around the heel, toe, topline, and sole edges of the striking face, the central opening is aligned with the center of the striking face.

Linear Displacement Transducer
The invention relates to a linear displacement transducer (LDT) (1). The LDT (1) includes a first end (2) and a second end (3) with attachment means for attaching the ends to two points. The LDT includes a linear motion guide (6) between the ends which includes a first part (7) which is guided to move linearly relative to a second part (8) and measurement means for measuring linear displacement between the first and second parts of the linear motion guide. The ends are attached to the parts of the linear motion guide (6) through intermediate flexible members (16 and 17) which have relatively lower bending stiffness than the linear motion guide such that lateral relative movement between the first (2) and second (3) ends induces greater flexure in the intermediate members (16 and 17) than in the linear motion guide (6).

Sensing winding configuration for inductive position encoder
An inductive position encoder includes a scale, a detector and a signal processor. The scale includes a periodic pattern of signal modulating elements (SME) arranged along a measuring axis (MA) with a spatial wavelength W1. The detector comprises sensing elements and a field generating coil that generates a changing magnetic flux. The sensing elements comprise conductive loops that provide detector signals responsive to a local effect on the changing magnetic flux provided by adjacent SME's. Some or all of the conductive loops are configured according to an intra-loop shift relationship wherein equal “shifted proportions” of a loop are shifted in opposite directions by W1/4K. K is an odd integer. The intra-loop shift relationship can be used to suppress Kth spatial harmonic components in the detector signals, while also overcoming longstanding detrimental layout problems. It combines easily with “loop width” spatial filtering techniques that filter other spatial harmonic signal components.
Stagger Stick
Generally, a device to measure the circumference of circular objects. Specifically, a device including a pair of slidingly engaged members disposed between a pair of arms configured to be engaged with tread on a tire at about the midline of a wheel, an electrical circuit which varies in output voltage based on the distance between the pair of arms, and a processor communicatively coupled to a non-transitory computer readable medium containing a program which correlates the output voltage of the electrical circuit to a unit measure of distance between the pair of arms and calculates tire circumference.
Electrical conduit spacing device
An electrical conduit spacing device to organize spacing of an electrical conduit at a predetermined location, the electrical conduit spacing device including a main body, a plurality of magnetic portions disposed on a first side of the main body and a second side of the main body opposite with respect to the first side to attract the electrical conduit thereto, a plurality of measuring sticks perpendicularly disposed on at least a portion of a bottom surface of the main body with respect to a direction to indicate a distance of a space between the electrical conduit, and another object or surface, and a butterfly nut disposed on at least a portion of the main body to move at least one of the plurality of measuring sticks in response to movement of the butterfly nut.
METHODS AND APPARATUS TO COUNT PEOPLE
Methods and apparatus to count people are disclosed. Example apparatus disclosed herein are to populate a list with first characteristic datasets obtained from a first plurality of images, respective ones of the first characteristic datasets representative of corresponding faces. Disclosed apparatus are also to perform comparisons of the first characteristic datasets to each other to determine a first number of unique faces, the comparisons limited to the first characteristic datasets obtained during the first period of time. Disclosed apparatus are further to delete the first characteristic datasets from the list after the first period of time has ended, and re-populate the list with second characteristic datasets obtained from a second plurality of images representative of the environment during a second period of time of the media presentation, the second period of time subsequent to the first period of time.
Fit finder tool
An apparatus (100), including: a base reference contact (102) configured to correspond with a first point on a workpiece; a dimension contact (120) configured to move relative to the base reference contact along a dimension axis (124) and to correspond with a second point on a workpiece; and a pointer (162) operatively associated with the dimension contact such that movement of the dimension contact moves the pointer along the dimension axis an amount (X % D) that is proportional to and less than an amount (D) the dimension contact moves along the dimension axis.
