Fan blade masking/coating check inspection tool
A masking and coating check inspection tool for inspecting a masking and/or coating edge on a fan blade includes an elongate planar base having distal first and second ends, bottom surface, top face, length, width, and thickness. The length is greater than the width. A pillar perpendicular to the elongate planar base and projecting upward from the top face between the first and second ends has a first end datum, and a first masking check tolerance band disposed on the first end, configured to provide a pass/fail indication of the first masking edge with respect to the first end datum. The pillar can have second end datum and second masking check tolerance band on the second end configured to provide a pass/fail indication of a second masking edge with respect to the second end datum. The inspection tool can be used on root and platform masking/coating edges.

Head-Measuring Device
A head-measuring device is disclosed and includes a support frame. The head-measuring device also includes a plurality of movable arms comprising a first set of movable arms and a second set of movable arms. The first set includes a first outermost arm, the second set includes a second outermost arm opposite the first outermost arm, and each movable arm is movable between a first position and a second position. The head-measuring device also includes a stationary arm coupled to the support frame such that the stationary arm is approximately equidistant between the outermost arms as the outermost arms are moved between the first and second positions. The plurality of movable arms are parallel to each other and to the stationary arm. The first and second sets of movable arms are mechanically linked such that the first set moves synchronously with the second set between the first and second positions.

Checking and angle-of-attack sensor vane assembly
Methods and devices for checking the geometry of an angle-of-attack sensor belonging to an aircraft are provided. The device includes one or more stages, a stage comprising a slot the geometric dimensions of which are specifically configured to accept a portion of the said angle-of-attack sensor. The device allows a visual inspection but can also be instrumented (photoelectric cell, laser, camera) in order to verify the geometry of the sensor in detail. Developments notably describe the use of signal indicators, motorized stages, one or more image sensors, specific materials, communications with computers, or placement by drone and/or robotic arm. Software aspects are described.

Electromechanical Measuring Instrument
A digital caliper configured to partially fold for compactness, having an inner and outer pair of measuring jaws, as well as an extending member for measuring depth. The inner pair of measuring jaws may fold inward toward the caliper housing. The extending member for measuring depth is accessible by removing at least one of the jaws. The jaws may be easily replaced if damaged or to install a different jaw design to provide alternative functionality. A lever lock cam may lock the measurement position at any distance between measuring jaws. The caliper is shaped in such a manner that the device may be operable with one hand. The caliper contains a communications module which allows it to interface with a measurement application. The caliper may be programmed with any presets to provide measurement data in any specified depiction.

Connection verification tool
A connection verification tool for verifying a secure connection between two fluid handling components of a fluid handling system. A connection verification tool can include a gauge portion sized sized to be placed over a first fluid handling component connected to a second fluid handling component to verify a secure connection between the two components. If the first fluid handling component is not securely connected to the second fluid handling component such that additional torque may be required to complete the connection between the two components, the gauge portion of the connection verification tool will not fit over the first component coupled to the second component.
