The extendable leg assembly includes a first member and a second member which move relative to one another when the extendable leg assembly changes length. The first member including an axial arrangement of magnets forming part of a linear motor for extending and retracting the extendable leg assembly, and at least one resilient member for absorbing at least some of any axial thermal expansion or contraction of the magnets in use.
Trigger management device for measurement equipment
Apparatuses, systems and methods associated with a trigger management device for managing triggering of sensors within measurement equipment are disclosed herein. In embodiments, a trigger management device may include trigger circuitry coupled to a sensor, the trigger circuitry to determine an amount of delay from trigger transmission to data capture for the sensor, and transmit a trigger to the sensor, the trigger to cause the sensor to capture sensor data. The trigger management device may further include encoder circuitry coupled to one or more encoders, the one or more encoders to indicate positions of one or more actuators or motors, the encoder circuitry to capture encoder data from the one or more encoders at a time that is the amount of delay after transmission of the trigger, wherein the encoder data indicates current positions of the one or more actuators or motors. Other embodiments may include circuitry to manage and/or transmit encoder and other data to multiple devices.
DETECTION DEVICE AND METHOD FOR DETECTING MULTIPLE OBJECT DATA SETS OF AT LEAST ONE OBJECT
A detection device for an at least semiautomated detection of multiple object data sets of at least one object is described. The detection devices includes a movement device for generating a defined relative movement between at least one object data detection unit and the at least one object.
Coordinate measuring apparatus with air bearing monitoring and adjusting capability
A coordinate measuring apparatus is provided having at least one measuring system and at least one support structure on which the measuring system is disposed, wherein the measuring system is displaceably mounted in the support structure and/or the support structure is displaceably mounted, and wherein the coordinate measuring apparatus includes an air bearing arrangement for mounting two components to be movable relative to one another. The air bearing arrangement includes at least one air bearing which provides a compressed air cushion between the components, wherein the air bearing has at least one compressed air supply line by way of which the compressed air can be provided, wherein a flow rate meter by way of which the flow rate of compressed air to the air bearing can be detected is provided in the compressed air supply line.
ACQUISITION DEVICE AND METHOD FOR ACQUIRING SETS OF MULTIPLE OBJECT DATA OF AT LEAST ONE OBJECT
An acquisition device for at least semiautomated acquisition of sets of multiple object data of at least one object, including a movement device for generating a defined relative movement between at least one object data acquisition unit and the at least one object.
LAYOUT AND MEASURING TOOL
A layout and measurement tool for measuring and marking the edge of a piece of stock may have a first arm extending from a central portion in a horizontal plane and a second arm extending from the central portion in a vertical plane allowing for simultaneous measurement and marking of the top face of the stock piece and the side of the stock piece without the need to move or reposition the tool.
Light guide clamping device, fiber optic sensor and production method
A clamping device (300) for a light guide (112) is provided. The clamping device (300) includes a carrier structure having a first securing element (301) for securing the light guide (112) in a first position (401), and a second securing element (302) at a distance from the first securing element (301) for securing the light guide (112) in a second position (402), wherein the first and second positions (401, 402) have a first distance (403) in a longitudinal extension of the light guide (112). Further, an intermediate carrier (500) having a first surface (503) on which the first and second securing elements (301, 302) are attached in respective securing positions (501, 502), and an opposing second surface (504), which can be applied to a measurement object, is provided. Hereby, a second distance (505) of the securing positions (501, 502) of the securing elements (301, 302) on the intermediate carrier (500) is greater than the first distance (403) in a longitudinal direction of the light guide (112).

The adjustable I-beam square includes first and second tongue members adapted for engaging an outer surface of the first and second flanges respectively. The adjustable square for wooden I-beams further includes an adjustable blade assembly. First and second saddle members bridge the respective flanges and adjoin the tongue members with the adjustable blade assembly. The adjustable blade assembly extends in a plane perpendicular to the first and second tongue members.
End play measurement apparatus for linear actuators
An measurement apparatus for measuring end play of a linear actuator features a dial indicator and a primary mounting clamp. A plunger of the dial indicator is displaceable back and forth to cause an indicator needle to move about a graduated dial to reflect a measurement of said displacement. The primary mounting clamp has a clamp body configured to releasably clamp onto an output rod of said linear actuator, and a dial support body projecting outwardly from said clamp body. The dial support body is configured to the support the dial indicator thereon in a working position in which the plunger reaches axially along the output rod toward a gear housing of said linear actuator to abut against a contact surface carried on a stationary portion of the actuator relative to which the output rod undergoes displacement during operation of said actuator.
