DEVICE FOR IDENTIFYING CENTER OF STRIKING FACE OF A WOOD-TYPE GOLF CLUB HEAD
A device and method for identifying a center of a striking face of a golf club head are disclosed. The center determining device includes a device body having a central opening defined through a first surface of said device body and a second surface opposite said first surface. A first dimension indicator including a pair of first indicator jaws and a second dimension indicator including a pair of second indicator jaws may be disposed on said device body. A first adjuster and a second adjuster are operable to adjust said first separation distance said pair of first indicator jaws and a second separation distance between said second indicator jaws. When the pair of first indicator jaws and the pair of second indicator jaws are equally spaced around the heel, toe, topline, and sole edges of the striking face, the central opening is aligned with the center of the striking face.
GOLF ASSISTING DEVICE AND METHOD WHICH CAN MEASURE PUTTING DISTANCE AND PUTTING DIRECTION
A golf assisting device includes a distance measurement unit for measuring a distance from a user to the target point, a slope measurement unit for measuring a slope of a path from a main terminal to a target point, a putting information calculator for calculating putting information (putting distance and putting direction) necessary for the user from the measured distance and slope data, and an output unit for providing the calculated putting information to the user through a screen or voice.
Address direction guiding apparatus and method
An address direction guiding apparatus includes: an azimuth sensor configured to measure an azimuth; a light output unit configured to output light; and a control unit configured to control the light output unit to output light differently depending on an angle between a target azimuth and the azimuth measured by the azimuth sensor.
GOLF CLUB HEAD AND METHOD OF MANUFACTURE
An iron-type golf club and a method of creating the iron-type golf club including the steps of forming a club head blank having an external sacrificial region with an ESR thickness, an ESR sole portion, an ESR face portion, and an ESR leading edge portion. A finished club head is formed having a finished club head weight of less than 310 grams by machining off an ESR removed mass from at least a portion of the external sacrificial region including at least a portion of the ESR sole portion, a portion of the ESR face portion, and a portion of the ESR leading edge portion.
Method and apparatus for measuring rigidity distribution
An apparatus for measuring a deformation distribution of an object having a longitudinal dimension comprises a structure for supporting the object. A sensor unit comprises a base, a contact member having a body connected to the base by a rotational joint such rotational degrees of freedom are provided between the base and the contact member, an end of the body configured to contact and move along the object, and at least one sensor for determining an orientation of the body relative to the base. A displacement module enables relative movement between the sensor unit and the structure for the sensor unit to relatively move along the object in the longitudinal dimension. A method and system for measuring a rigidity distribution of an object having a longitudinal dimension are also provided.
Non-contact measurement device for golf course green
A measurement device (100) for a golf course green comprises: a distance measurement unit (30) having a pair of laser transmitter/receivers (32) for emitting a pair of laser beams (L; L1, L2), for distance measurement, outwardly at a predetermined emission angle with respect to the forward direction (CEN); a control unit (50) for generating hole-cup position information and hole-cup gradient information from an arithmetic operation of data on the distance measured by the pair of laser transmitter/receivers (32) of the distance measurement unit (30) and data on the emission angle; and an output unit (60) provided outside a casing (10) so as to output the hole-cup position information and hole-cup gradient information generated by the control unit (50).
Gauge having a window
A gauge for cartridges is disclosed. The gauge includes a gauge body defining an opening, a window, and receiving space. The opening and the receiving space share an axis and are in direct communication with each other. The window is in direct communication with the receiving space. The opening and the window are separated by a body portion of the gauge. Each gauge has a receiving space that is sized and shaped to correspond to a predetermined cartridge.
METHOD, SYSTEM, AND NON-TRANSITORY COMPUTER-READABLE RECORDING MEDIUM FOR MEASURING PHYSICAL QUANTITIES ASSOCIATED WITH A GOLF CLUB
The present invention relates to a method, system, and non-transitory computer-readable recording medium for measuring physical quantities associated with a golf club. According to one aspect of the invention, there is provided a method for measuring physical quantities associated with a golf club, the method comprising the steps of: detecting a first marker and a second marker of different shapes in at least one image of a head of a golf club for which physical quantities are to be measured; and measuring the physical quantities associated with the golf club with reference to properties of a target area specified on the basis of the first marker and the second marker.
Self-centering mandrel for golf club hosels
A laser mandrel system that self-centers within a hosel bore of a golf club head to allow for precision adjustment of lie and loft is disclosed herein. The mandrel includes a one-piece housing with upper and lower portions, a laser centered within the upper portion of the housing, and a plurality of o-rings extending around an exterior or interior surface of a lower portion of the housing.
