IDENTIFICATION OF GEOMETRIC DEVIATIONS OF A MOTION GUIDE IN A COORDINATE-MEASURING MACHINE OR IN A MACHINE TOOL
The invention relates to a method for identifying geometric deviations of a real motion guide from an ideal motion guide in a coordinate-measuring machine having a sensor for measuring a workpiece, or in a machine tool having a tool for processing a workpiece, wherein the coordinate-measuring machine or the machine tool has a movable part which is guided along the motion guide and by the motion guide.

Transprojection of geometry data
Systems and methods for transprojection of geometry data acquired by a coordinate measuring machine (CMM). The CMM acquires geometry data corresponding to 3D coordinate measurements collected by a measuring probe that are transformed into scaled 2D data that is transprojected upon various digital object image views captured by a camera. The transprojection process can utilize stored image and coordinate information or perform live transprojection viewing capabilities in both still image and video modes.
Mechanical tracking system
A mechanical tracking system comprises a first set of linkage arms, a second set of linkage arms, a pair of shafts connected at a first end to one arm of the first set of linkage arms and at a second end to one arm of said second set of the linkage arms, wherein each arm of the second set of linkage arms is oriented out of phase with a respective arm of the first set of linkage arms, an attachment shaft positioned adjacent to the first set of linkage arms to accommodate a tool, and a sensor arrangement configured to sense the orientation and position of the attachment shaft.

TRAJECTORY RECORD ARM
A trajectory record arm is disclosed, on which the connection apparatus is engaged in order to provide the transmission of the motion trajectory of a connection apparatus to a trajectory recording device. The trajectory record arm includes: at least one telescopic bar which is engaged on one side with at least one fastening element and on the other side with the connection apparatus such that freedom of rotation is allowed between the fastening element and the connection apparatus, at least one first sensor for detecting the movement between the telescopic bar and the fastening element, at least one second sensor for detecting the distance change between the fastening element and the connection apparatus based on the change in the length of the telescopic bar, at least one third sensor for detecting the movement of the connection apparatus in relation with the telescopic bar.
Handheld measuring aid for use with a six-degrees-of-freedom laser tracker
Some embodiments of the invention relate to a handheld measuring aid for use in a system—having a station for position and orientation determination of the handheld measuring aid—for surveying an object surface. the handheld measuring aid has in this case on a body, visual markings which are arranged in a defined spatial relationship, forming a pattern, on the body in a marking region, a measuring probe, which is arranged on an orifice of the body in a defined spatial relationship in relation to the pattern, for the object surface, an operating element, an electronic circuit for generating a measurement triggering signal—occurring as a function of an actuation of the operating element—and wireless communication means for transmitting the measurement triggering signal to the station.
