Pitch angle indicator system
A pitch angle indicator system indicates a pitch angle of blades of a propeller of a marine propulsion unit. A mechanical link couples at least one of the blades to a first end of a first rod. An indicator is coupled to a second end of the first rod. The mechanical link is configured to convert a change in the pitch angle into a rotation of the first rod about its longitudinal axis. The indicator is configured to provide an indication of the amount of rotation of the first rod about the longitudinal axis.

A pitch angle indicator system indicates a pitch angle of blades of a propeller of a marine propulsion unit. A mechanical link couples at least one of the blades to a first end of a first rod. MEASURING DEVICE AND MEASURING METHOD FOR PEDAL PLANE ANGLE OF BICYCLE
A measuring device for a pedal plane angle of a bicycle includes a pedal body, an angle sensing unit and a central processing unit (CPU). The angle sensing unit is disposed in an accommodating chamber of the pedal body, and senses an angle of the pedal body to send an angle sensing signal. The CPU analyzes the angle sensing signal to obtain angle data of the pedal body relative to an angle of a reference plane to accordingly learn an angle relationship between the pedal body and the reference plane. The angle relationship may coordinate with other sensing units, for example, data of a pedaling force sensing unit to mutually correct and analyze the data, so as to obtain correct pedaling force information. With the angle data, whether a pedaling angle of a rider is correct can be learned to prevent sports injuries caused by incorrect pedaling angles.
MEASURING DEVICE AND MEASURING METHOD FOR PEDAL PLANE ANGLE OF BICYCLE
A measuring device for a pedal plane angle of a bicycle includes a pedal body, an angle sensing unit and a central processing unit (CPU). CHAMFER GAGE WITH INTERCHANGEABLE ANVILS
Applicant has disclosed a chamfer gage with interchangeable anvil assemblies which can measure the diameter of chamfered holes and the chamfer angle (up to 135°). In the preferred embodiment, the chamfer gage comprises: an indicator housing; a compression fitting, attached to the housing, for securing an indicator spindle for movement inside the housing; and an interchangeable anvil assembly, having an anvil body with a depressible anvil or plunger inside, which can be detachably connected to the indicator housing by a threaded thumb ring rotatably mounted on the housing. Another interchangeable anvil assembly can be swapped within thirty seconds to measure the chamfer of a different hole size.
METHOD FOR DETECTING A BLOCKING OF A ROTOR OF A MOTOR DRIVING AN ACTUATOR MEMBER
A method of detecting blocking of a rotor of a motor driving an actuator member with movement in translation between a first abutment and a second abutment, the method comprising the steps of, during an angular movement of the rotor, estimating at least a position (X) of the actuator member relative to the two abutments, a travel direction of the actuator member relative to the two abutments, and also a travel speed (V) of the actuator member; and on the basis at least of the estimated position of the actuator member, of the estimated travel direction of the actuator member, and of the estimated travel speed of the actuator member, detecting blocking of the rotor.

Apparatus and method for measuring a bending angle of a workpiece
An apparatus for measuring a bending angle between two portions of a workpiece in a bending machine includes at least a motion sensor unit provided with a gyroscope sensor, a processing unit connected with the gyroscope sensor and a coupling device for connecting the motion sensor unit with a portion of the workpiece to be bent. During a bending operation of the workpiece the gyroscope sensor measures at least one angular velocity and a related rotation angle of the portion according to an axis and the processing unit receives data from the gyroscope sensor regarding the rotation angle in order to calculate the bending angle as a function of the rotation angle.
Apparatus and method for measuring a bending angle of a workpiece
An apparatus for measuring a bending angle between two portions of a workpiece in a bending machine includes at least a motion sensor unit provided with a gyroscope sensor, a processing unit connected with the gyroscope sensor and a coupling device for connecting the motion sensor unit with a portion of the workpiece to be bent. During a bending operation of the workpiece the gyroscope sensor measures at least one angular velocity and a related rotation angle of the portion according to an axis and the processing unit receives data from the gyroscope sensor regarding the rotation angle in order to calculate the bending angle as a function of the rotation angle.
Device and method for determining a contact angle of a rolling element
Method for determining the contact angle (α) of a rolling element bearing (10) comprising an inner ring (12), an outer ring (14) and a plurality, P, of rolling elements (16) interposed between the inner ring (12) and the outer ring (14). The method comprises the step of determining the relative speed of P−1 or fewer of said plurality, P, of rolling elements (16) with respect to the inner ring (12) and/or the outer ring (14) and determining the contact angle (α) of said rolling element bearing (10) therefrom.
