Angle gauge
11796300 · 2023-10-24 ·

An angle gauge for immediately determining if an inclination of a ladder against a vertical surface is satisfactory is provided. The angle gauge has a circular base portion and an indicator dial rotatably connected to the center of a face of the base portion. A straight edge flange is connected to the base portion to provide a straight edge extending tangentially from the circumference thereof. The face has top and bottom halves dividing by an angle line, wherein the angle line is adjustable so as to select a target angle between the angle line relative to the straight edge. The indicator dial obscures half of the face at all times. The straight edge is connected to a rung of a ladder so that if the ladder is not oriented at the target angle relative to vertical supporting surface, the bottom half is partially visible above the indicator dial.

DUAL-DIAL MEASUREMENT DEVICE AND MEASUREMENT METHOD FOR VIEWING ANGLE MEASUREMENT OF OPTICAL COMPONENT
20230375438 · 2023-11-23 ·

A double-dial measurement device and a measurement method for viewing angle measurement of an optical component are provided. The device includes a support frame, a large dial, a small dial, a vernier disc, verniers and an objective table. When the first locking knot is fastened and the small dial rotates, the large dial or the vernier disc are driven to rotate synchronously, which refers to a rotation motion centered on an axis of the large dial under external force. When a symmetrical light source is irradiated on the optical component, an exit angle of exit lights is used to measure the viewing angle, effectively measuring the effective viewing angle of a single optical component and an optical component set, evaluating the optical component or system with reference to the viewing angle, and providing guidance and reference for the optical component.

Tilt-responsive techniques for sharing content

Methods and systems are disclosed for sharing a content item from a secondary computing device to a primary computing device based on a tilt position of the secondary computing device. A sensor on the secondary computing device determines that the secondary computing device has a first tilt position that is associated with a non-sharing mode. The sensor senses that the secondary computing device is tilting from the first tilt position towards a second tilt position that is associated with a full sharing mode. In response, the content item is begun to be shared with the primary computing device. An amount of the content item that is shared with the primary computing device is continued to be increased as long as the sensor continues to sense that the secondary computing device is tilting from the first tilt position towards the second tilt position. The sensor senses that the secondary computing device has reached the second tilt position and shares the entire content item with the primary computing device.

Systems and methods for illumination control and distribution during a vehicle bank

A bank angle of a vehicle can be accurately calculated using yaw axis data and roll axis data, and based on the calculated bank angle, vehicle illumination optics can be controlled to maintain a pattern of distributed light from the illumination optics to be generally horizontal. The calculated bank angle may be zeroed when the yaw axis data equals zero. The improved pattern of distributed light from the illumination optics illuminates a more natural field of view for the vehicle driver during a bank.
