A system for testing linear displacement of multiple linear motors simultaneously under various signals and electrical power supplies includes a testing device, a first processing device, and a second processing device. The first processing device outputs a first start signal to a plurality of first motors to control operation of the plurality of first motors. The second processing device receives a test start signal output by the first processing device, and outputs a first test trigger signal to the test device according to the test start signal. The testing device receives the first test trigger signal, and measures displacements of the moving end of the first motor according to the first test trigger signal.
QUALITY CONTROL SYSTEM FOR ANALYZING THE QUALITY OF A BATTERY CELL THROUGH A VOLUMETRIC MEASUREMENT OF GAS FORMED DURING A CELL FORMATION PROCESS AND A METHOD OF ANALYZING THE SAME
A quality control system analyzes the quality of a battery cell, with the battery cell defining a gas pouch configured to expand from a deflated configuration to an inflated configuration when filled with a gas formed during a cell formation process. The system comprises a computational system comprising a processor and a memory and a measurement instrument in electronic communication with the computational system. The measurement instrument is arranged to measure a distance defined by the gas pouch and transmit a signal to the computational system corresponding to the distance. The computational system is arranged to analyze the distance with the processor and determine a volumetric measurement of the gas within the gas pouch and compare the volumetric measurement to a threshold in the memory to assess a quality score for the battery cell. A corresponding method analyzes the quality of the battery cell with the quality control system.

The computational system is arranged to analyze the distance with the processor and determine a volumetric measurement of the gas within the gas pouch and compare the volumetric measurement to a threshold in the memory to assess a quality score for the battery cell. A corresponding method analyzes the quality of the battery cell with the quality control system.
Dimensional measuring system
A multi-dimensional measuring system is disclosed. The measuring system includes a dimensional measuring device that fits over an exterior portion of an item and provides reference measurements in three orthogonal directions. The measuring system also includes a camera to take an image of the item with the dimensional measuring placed thereon and a hardware processor that receives and processes the image to determine the dimensions of the item based upon the reference measurements of the dimensional measuring device.

A multi-dimensional measuring system is disclosed. The measuring system includes a dimensional measuring device that fits over an exterior portion of an item and provides reference measurements in three orthogonal directions. The measuring system also includes a camera to take an image of the item with the dimensional measuring placed thereon and a hardware processor that receives and processes the image to determine the dimensions of the item based upon the reference measurements of the dimensional measuring device.
Guide information display device, crane equipped with same, and guide information display method
To accurately obtain the shapes of a hoisting load and an object located near the hoisting load, and the height of the ground surface, and present an accurate warning display when the hoisting load approaches the object. A guide information display device is equipped with a data processing unit which: estimates the top surface of a hoisting load, the ground surface, and the top surface of the object, on the basis of a data point group obtained by a laser scanner; generates guide frames representing guide frames that surround the top surface of the hoisting load and the top surface of the object, and also generates height information and height information which represent the elevation of the hoisting load and the object; calculates the distance between the hoisting load and the object on the basis of the estimated top surfaces of the hoisting load and object; and outputs a warning display when the distance is equal to or less than a threshold. The guide information display device is also equipped with a data display unit for displaying guide information obtained by overlapping an image captured by a camera with the guide frames, the height information and the height information, and the warning display which were generated by the data processing unit.
Guide information display device, crane equipped with same, and guide information display method

POSITION MEASUREMENT METHOD
A position measurement method is used by a device including an imaging unit and a position detector that detects a position of the imaging unit to measure, using a detection value at imaging of a measurement point, position coordinates of the measurement point. The method for correcting the detection value from the position detector includes obtaining, with the device, position coordinates of predetermined indices (22) arranged two-dimensionally on a calibration plate (20) as an actual measurement value, obtaining, as a correction value, a difference between the actual measurement value and a true value resulting from transformation of position coordinates of the indices (22) with respect to a reference point on the calibration plate (20), and correcting the detection value from the position detector (8, 9, 10). The imaging unit (3) images measurement points (P) on the measurement target (3) to measure position coordinates of the measurement points (P).
IMAGE BASED TRAILER WHEELBASE DETERMINATION
A method for determining a trailer detection parameter of a trailer including receiving an image from at least one camera at a controller. The at least one camera defines a field of view including at least a portion of a vehicle trailer. The method determines a trailer angle of the vehicle trailer relative to a tractor, identifies at least one feature in an image of the trailer, determines a two-dimensional distance from the at least one feature to a predefined position on the image, and converts the two-dimensional distance to a three-dimensional distance based at least in part on the determined angle. The three-dimensional distance is a trailer detection parameter of the trailer.
SPECTACLE LENS SHAPE MEASUREMENT METHOD
A method of measuring lens shape of a spectacle lens, the method comprising: a) providing a spectacle lens on a surface; b) providing an image recording apparatus comprising a camera and a display; c) positioning the image recording apparatus so that the camera is largely parallel to the surface; d) capturing an image of the spectacle lens, the captured image comprising a total surface area of a camera-facing side of the spectacle lens; e) indicating positions of features of the spectacle lens in the captured image; and f) measuring a shape of the spectacle lens and determining image coordinates of the spectacle lens features.
