Gradient sensor
A gradient sensing probe system, and method of using same, including a sensing segment which includes a plurality of sensors, a support structure, and an electrical interface having first and second faces. The system further includes a housing, a power source, and an electronics package including a controller and disposed within the housing. The sensing segment is configured to measure external gradients and to exchange data with the controller. The power source is connected energetically to provide power to the sensing segment and the electronics package, and is controlled by the controller.
Sensor system, sensing element and methods
Techniques are disclosed for disseminating network service-specific mapping information across administrative domains. In one example, a network device receives an indication of a route target and one or more underlay tunnels configured to support a service route. The service route is configured to transport network traffic associated with a first network service of a plurality of network services. The network device defines, based on the indication, a first transport class of a plurality of transport classes. The network device receives a service route for the first network service and stores a correspondence between the service route and the first transport class. The network device receives network traffic associated with the first network service and forwards, based on the correspondence, the network traffic along the underlay tunnels specified by the first transport class.
Laser Level Mounting Device
Various laser mount designs are shown. The laser mount includes a body, a movable laser platform and a connection mechanism to clamp onto a surface and/or object. The connection mechanism includes a retention plate, a threaded rod, guide rods, a pair of connection jaws or clamps and a clamp adjustment screw knob configured to move both connection jaws. The connection jaws are designed to clamp onto a variety of surface shapes and material sizes.

Telescoping level device
This unique and novel invention provides a telescoping level device used to effectively and efficiently measure the slope of objects and surfaces. The device comprises a telescoping arm, a ball joint, a level, and one or more contactors. The device allows the user to easily, accurately, and quickly verify the in-situ slope of pipes as well as a plurality of other objects and surfaces. The length and angle of the telescoping arm, relative to the level, are adjustable to prevent the user from unnecessarily stooping, kneeling, or climbing.

Rotating range sensor to measure truss vertical height for stage configurations
An example of an apparatus includes a support member to support equipment above a stage. The apparatus also includes a range sensor rotatably mounted to the support member. The range sensor is to measure a distance to the stage. In addition, the apparatus includes a leveling mechanism to rotate the range sensor to measure the distance along a vertical direction. The apparatus further includes an output device to transmit the distance to a user.

Vial with Improved Visibility for Level
A level including level vial(s) having enhanced visibility are provided. The level may include a level vial including a material that is attracted to the interface or border of a globule within the level vial which improves visibility of the interface. The level may include a solid level indicator having easy to see end surfaces that are generally vertically oriented when in the level position. The end surfaces of the solid level indicator may allow the user to more easily compare the position of the solid level indicator to indicating lines formed on the level vial. The level may include a level vial including a first liquid and an immiscible second liquid forming a globule with the first material. The globule formed from the second material may improve visibility compared to a typical air bubble.
