A positioning device includes a first positioning element and a second positioning element where the holding device is connected to the positioning device, the self-leveling plumb line laser pointer is connected to the first positioning element, and the first positioning element is movable with respect to the second positioning element. The holding device is connected to the first positioning element, the second positioning element is a platform including an open space that defines a horizontal two-dimensional area, and the first positioning element is movable with respect to the open space.

Embodiments of the preset invention include a barcode reader that comprises a housing having a handgrip portion and an upper body portion, a first printed circuit board (PCB) extending into the upper body portion, and an imaging module positioned within the upper body portion. In this instance, the imaging module includes an imaging system having an imager and an imaging lens assembly, the imaging system having a field of view with a central imaging axis passing through a window in the upper body portion and lying on a horizontal plane. The imaging module further includes an aiming light system configured to emit an aiming light pattern, the aiming light system offset from the imaging system along the horizontal plane. Furthermore, the components of the barcode reader are arranged such that the first PCB is positioned at an oblique angle relative to the central imaging axis.
FENESTRATION INSTALLATION DIAGNOSTIC SYSTEM
A fenestration installation diagnostic system includes a diagnostic cord and a plurality of diagnostic fittings configured for coupling with a fenestration assembly. Each of the diagnostic fittings includes at least one bracket leg configured to statically couple the diagnostic fitting with the fenestration assembly and at least one alignment interface, and the alignment interface is configured to align the diagnostic cord at a diagnostic intersection. Each of the diagnostic fittings further includes at least one cord guide configured to route the diagnostic cord along the diagnostic fitting and toward another diagnostic fitting of the plurality of diagnostic fittings. In a diagnostic configuration with the fenestration assembly each of the diagnostic fittings are statically with the fenestration assembly, and the diagnostic cord tautly extends from the alignment interfaces of the plurality of diagnostic fittings to the diagnostic intersection.

Positioning device for aligning semiconductor tool and overhead hoist transport system
Positioning devices and positioning methods are provided. The positioning device includes a laser source and an optical assembly. The optical assembly is configured to direct a laser beam projected from the laser source toward a floor and a ceiling of a semiconductor fabrication facility to generate a first laser line on the floor and a second laser line on the ceiling. The first laser line and the second laser line are parallel to and aligned with each other when viewed in a direction perpendicular to the floor and the ceiling. Accordingly, the first laser line and the second laser line can be used to align a semiconductor tool and an overhead hoist transport system in the semiconductor fabrication facility.
Imaging module and reader for, and method of, reading a target by image capture with a visually enhanced aiming light pattern
An imaging sensor of an imaging reader senses return light from a target to be read by image capture along an imaging axis over a field of view that extends along mutually orthogonal, horizontal and vertical axes. Two aiming light assemblies are offset from the sensor, and direct an aiming light pattern at the target. The pattern has an aiming mark in a central area of the pattern, and a pair of aiming light lines that are collinear along the horizontal axis. The visibility of the aiming mark is enhanced by optically configuring the aiming mark to be different in brightness and/or color and/or size and/or state of existence relative to a remaining area of the pattern. The aiming mark of enhanced visibility constitutes a prominent visual indicator of a center zone of the field of view.
