UTILITY COVER FOR USE WITH AUTOMATED METERING EQUIPMENT
Utility covers and utility cover assemblies for use with automated metering infrastructure equipment are provided. The utility cover includes a body having one or more windows that permit electromagnetic energy to pass through the body with limited or no attenuation. One or more plugs made of a material substantially transparent to electromagnetic energy seals the one or more windows to limit or prevent moisture to pass through the one or more windows.

CONSUMABLE GAS LEAK DETECTION
Methods, systems, and apparatus for monitoring consumable gas usage are disclosed. A method includes obtaining, from one or more sensors installed at a property, sensor data that indicates one or more attributes of the property; based on the sensor data, determining an expected amount of gas consumption at the property; obtaining, from a gas meter installed at the property, gas meter data that indicates a gas consumption at the property; determining, based on the gas meter data and the expected amount of gas consumption, that the gas consumption at the property meets criteria for abnormal gas consumption; and based on determining that the gas consumption at the property meets criteria for abnormal gas consumption, performing one or more monitoring system actions. Determining an expected amount of gas consumption at the property comprises determining an operating status of each of a plurality of gas consuming appliances at the property.

SYSTEM AND METHOD FOR IDENTIFYING APPLIANCES UNDER RECALL
An appliance operation signal processing system comprises: an input for receiving an appliance operation signal, the appliance operation signal comprising information relating to operation of an appliance; an output for outputting information relating to a recall status of the appliance; and a processor configured to: monitor an input appliance operation signal for a change in magnitude; if a change is detected: identify a component event corresponding to the change; determine whether the component event is a designated sequence start component event; if the component event is determined to be a designated sequence start component event: extract one or more features from the input appliance operation signal between the sequence start component event and a sequence stop point; determine information relating to a recall status of the appliance by inputting the one or more features into a first algorithm.

Metrology device including a high-voltage protection module
A high-voltage protection module for a metrology device includes a metal-oxide varistor (MOV) coupled across a mains power line, a resistor electrically coupled to the MOV in series with the MOV, and a fuse electrically coupled to the MOV and the resistor in series, the resistor being located between the fuse and the MOV. The fuse opens upon an overvoltage event disengaging alternating current (AC) power from the mains power line to the metrology device.

High-resolution index (HRI) detector modules including capacitive sensors and related systems
A high-resolution index (HRI) detector module for use with a meter including an HRI wheel therein having a modulator thereon is provided. The HRI detector module includes a plurality of capacitive sensors positioned on a printed circuit board (PCB). The plurality of capacitive sensors is configured to detect a change in capacitance caused by the modulator of the HRI wheel when the modulator enters into an electric field generated by the plurality of capacitive sensors. Related systems are also provided.
Meter with meter housing and cover
A meter has a meter housing with a measurement path through which a fluid which is intended to be measured can flow and an evaluation and display device for establishing at least one fluid-related measurement value. The evaluation and display device is arranged outside on the meter housing. A cover is secured to the meter housing and engages over the evaluation and display device. The cover is a cap of glass which engages over the evaluation and display device and which rests in a state sealed via a sealing agent on the meter housing.
