GAUGE WITH ROTARY SELECTOR AND METHOD OF INSTALLING
A gauge is disclosed that includes a combination analog-digital instrument display with an analog dial and a digital display; and a rotary selector. The rotary selector defines a central aperture; frames the combination analog-digital instrument display such that both the analog dial and the digital display are simultaneously viewable through the central aperture; and is rotatable about the combination analog-digital instrument display such that at least one of a rotation and a depression of the rotary selector selects, as an input for the digital display, one of a plurality of vehicle sensors disposed within an automotive vehicle on which the gauge is mounted. Each of the plurality of vehicle sensors measures a different physical quantity associated with the automotive vehicle.
Meter display device for vehicle
The invention provides a meter display device for a vehicle having improved visibility of indicated contents. A meter display device includes a pointer having a pointer position changed by shifting in a predetermined array direction in accordance with a continuously changing vehicle state to indicate the vehicle state, a dial having a plurality of numeral indicating portions configured to indicate the vehicle state at different levels, aligned at intervals in the array direction, and individually change lighting modes, and a controller configured to change the lighting modes of the plurality of numeral indicating portions in accordance with the vehicle state.
Humidity measuring device
A humidity measuring device is equipped with a measurement unit including a temperature sensing element, a humidity sensing element, a casing including an accommodating section in which the measurement unit is accommodated, and a display unit including a display device which is fixed to the casing. A coupling tube connected in the middle between tube portions through which the gas flows enables gas to flow between one of the tube portions and another of the tube portions. The coupling tube includes an orifice, a filter is mounted in the coupling tube, and the casing includes a first tube and a second tube to connect the coupling tube and the accommodating section, and to enable the gas to flow between the coupling tube and the accommodating section.
Humidity measuring device
A humidity measuring device is equipped with a temperature and humidity measurement unit including a temperature sensing element that measures temperature and a humidity sensing element that measures humidity, a casing having an accommodating section in which the temperature and humidity measurement unit is accommodated, and a supply tube that supplies a gas at a measurement location into the accommodating section, and a display unit having a display device, and which is fixed to the casing. The display unit further includes a display control unit that controls the display device to thereby cause the display device to display at least one of the humidity of the gas measured by the humidity sensing element, or a dew point temperature of the gas calculated based on the temperature of the gas measured by the temperature sensing element, and the humidity of the gas measured by the humidity sensing element.
METHOD AND SYSTEM FOR MONITORING ANALOGUE GAUGES USING COMPUTER VISION OPERATIONS
The embodiments of the present disclosure herein address unresolved problems of analog gauges including manual reading errors, lack of data logging, and difficulty in remote monitoring. Embodiments herein provide a method and system for monitoring analogue gauges using a series of computer vision operations. The invention is a system and method for identifying analog gauge using Hough transform to identify circular patterns in an image to detect scale and then using circular segmentation method to detect needle pattern. The system is configured to digitize the overall process of capturing recording and analyzing meter readings and alert in case of anomalies. The system provides a generic statistical way of solving the problem of identifying analog gauge and then identifying min/max scale with meter readings.
GAUGE READING METHOD AND GAUGE READING DEVICE
In a gauge reading method and a gauge reading device for reading an analog gauge, the gauge reading method includes: acquiring a first image including an environment including a gauge; extracting a second image from the first image using an object detector, the second image corresponding to at least a partial portion of the first image and including the gauge; inferring a zero point, a gauge end point, a needle center point, and a needle end point from the second image using a deep neural network; obtaining a converted needle end point such that a depth difference between a gauge plate and a needle of the gauge is eliminated by reprojecting a location of the needle end point; determining an angle formed by a scale start point or a scale end point, the needle center point, and the converted needle end point; and converting the angle into a gauge value.
