Sensor For a Fingerboard Latch Assembly
A sensor unit for a fingerboard latch assembly comprising a latch bracket and a latch rotatably mounted on the latch bracket comprises a sensor arranged to sense the orientation of the latch and a wireless, optical or other communication unit arranged to communicate the orientation of the latch sensed by the sensor. The sensor unit may be mountable on the latch and comprise an orientation sensor arranged to take measurements that are dependent on the orientation of the sensor unit, and a processor arranged to derive an orientation signal representing the orientation of the latch from the measurements, the communication unit being arranged to communicate the orientation signal. A monitoring system receives the sensed orientations from plural sensor units.

The image data display system according to the present invention makes it possible to comprehend a global distribution of measurement values and a change in details of the measurement values simultaneously. In the present invention, a color information conversion unit converts the measurement values to color information for representing the global distribution of the measurement values. A detail extraction unit extracts detail information of the measurement values from the measurement values. A detail adjustment unit adjusts the strength of detail information and generates adjusted detail information. A color information adding unit adds color information on the basis of the adjusted detail information.
Color changing hose
A hose having an observed color, the hose includes a tubular wall having an interior, an exterior and a thickness. The observed hose color changes between a first hose color in a first state and a second hose color in a second state. Differences between the first state and second state may be the result of different expansions of the hose, different pressure pressures within the hose, differences in amount of fluid within the hose and different tensions states for the hose. Observed color changes between the first state and second state may be a color change, a color shade change, alternating rings of at least two different colors or shades of color along the length of the hose, a color pattern change or even the generation of indicia on the hose.

A device for providing at least one signal color for a level gauge is provided, the device including: a parameterization device configured to provide a signal color for a network of level measuring devices; and a transmission device configured to transmit the provided signal color as signal color data to the network of level measuring devices. A quality management system for products including a multiplicity of barcoded quality indicators, a barcode indicator reader and a product type responsive indication interpreter, each of the barcoded quality indicators including a first barcode including at least one first colorable area, the first barcode being machine-readable before exceedance of the at least one time and temperature threshold, at least a second barcode including at least one second colorable area, the second barcode not being machine-readable before exceedance of the at least one time and temperature threshold, a coloring agent located at a first location on the indicator and a coloring agent pathway operative to allow the coloring agent to move, from the first location to the first and second colorable areas simultaneously thereby causing the first barcode to become unreadable and at the same time causing the second barcode to become machine-readable.
Co-topo polymeric compositions, devices and systems for controlling threshold and delay activation sensitivities
Co-topo-polymeric indicator compositions and methods for making and using the same are provided. Indicator compositions of the invention include a polymer and undergo a color change, which may be reversible or irreversible, in response to an applied stimulus, e.g., temperature. Aspects of methods of producing the compositions include setting a fluid co-topo-polymeric precursor composition into a solid product and then subjecting the solid product (either immediately or after a delay period) to polymerizing conditions to produce the desired indicator composition. Also provided are indicator devices that include the indicator compositions of the invention. The compositions of the invention find use in a variety of different applications.
Variable light indicator
An indicator assembly is disclosed having a first light source and a second light source positioned relative to a surface. An overlap region may be formed between the first light source and second light source depending upon the relative intensity of the light sources, which may be used to convey information to a user and/or to provide an alternative visual indicator of a gauge.
