INTELLIGENT SELF-HEATING GARMENT ADJUSTING TEMPERATURE THEREOF ACCORDING TO USER'S INTUITIVE ACTION BASED ON EXPERIENCE
Provided is an intelligent self-heating garment, whereby the temperature of the garment is adjusted according to the user's intuitive action based on the experience. The garment includes: a garment body; a heater provided in the garment body; a controller adjusting a heating temperature of the heater; and a temperature adjusting unit inputting an adjusting signal to the controller, and the adjusting signal being used for adjusting the heating temperature, wherein the temperature adjusting unit adjusts intensity of the adjusting signal according to a change in a size of an aperture provided in the garment body through which a body part of a user passes.
HEATING SYSTEM FOR A GARMENT OR OTHER FABRIC OBJECT AND POWER CONTROL FOR EMBEDDED POWERED COMPONENTS
A heating system, such as embedded in a fabric object, such as a wearable garment, comprising at least one heating element comprising an electrical resistance heating loop, the heating element comprising at least one sense wire for detecting and providing a signal indicative of a safety condition, and a controller connected to the at least one heating element and to the sense wire and configured to shut down the heating element in response to the signal indicative of the safety condition. Multiple, independently controllable heating elements in a garment may be connected to a harness and one or more integral battery packs with a power management system to permit hot swapping of the battery packs. The garment may be configured to be communicatively paired to a mobile device to provide hands free phone, music streaming, and/or a user interface for the heating system.
BREATHABLE GARMENT
A breathable garment for heating or cooling independently the body of a wearer. The breathable garment includes an inner electrically heatable substrate intended to be facing the body of the wearer in use; a forced air supply mechanism for supplying forced air into the space between the inner electrically heatable substrate and the body of the wearer; an intermediate perforated substrate; an outer waterproof, water-vapour-permeable substrate; and a mechanism for maintaining a gap between the intermediate perforated substrate and the outer substrate, making up an air chamber to allow turbulent airflow across the entire garment.
AN ELECTRICAL ACTIVE ASSEMBLY AND A CLOTHING ASSEMBLY COMPRISING THE SAME
The invention relates to an electrical active assembly for generating a physical effect such as heat, cold or humidity, and a textile assembly, such as a clothing assembly, including said electrical active assembly, with an application to a system for regulating the temperature or humidity of a user's body.
The electrical assembly comprises a first textile support, a first active element 1 for generating the physical effect, connected to a power source, and located on or in the first textile support, a first sensor 2 for sensing data relative to a physical information, such as temperature or humidity, connected to a power source, and located on or in the first textile support, and a first controlling unit 3 connected to the first active element and sensor, and located on or in the first textile support, such as to allow the activation/deactivation by the first controlling unit of the first active element depending on data sensed by the first sensor.
The electrical assembly also comprises a second textile support distinct from the first textile support, a second active element 4 for generating said physical effect, connected to a power source, and located on or in the second textile support, a second sensor 5 for sensing data relative to the physical information, connected to a power source, and located on or in the second textile support, and a second controlling unit 6 connected to the second active element and sensor, and located on or in said second textile support, such as to allow the activation/deactivation by the second controlling unit of the second active element depending on data sensed by the second sensor.
The first controlling unit is connected to the second active element and sensor, such as to allow the activation/deactivation by the first controlling unit of the second active element depending on data sensed by the second sensor and/or by the first sensor, and/or the second controlling unit is connected to the first active element and sensor, such as to allow the activation/deactivation by the second controlling unit of the first active element depending on data sensed by the first sensor and/or by the second sensor.
Inflatable Garment with Lightweight Air Pump and Method of Use
An inflatable cold-weather upper-body garment. The garment includes first and second pluralities of interconnected gas flow chambers, each plurality enclosed by gas-impermeable material; a fluid-flow channel connecting the first and second pluralities of gas flow chambers; and a hand-operable air pump in fluid communication with one of the gas flow chambers.
Brake and turn signal gear
The present invention provides a signal gear for cyclist to give brake and turn signals to other road users while the cyclist has full control of the handle bar and brake. The signal gear of the present invention is preferably a glove with finger portions. Control and activation of the turn and/or brake signals is mainly by using electrical conductive nature of the signal glove as a switch of the signaling component which is either incorporated with the glove or with the vehicle (e.g. bicycle). The signaling component can emit turn/brake light signal or transmit an activation signal to a light emitting device to give turn/brake light signal. The turn and brake light signals are in yellow and red color, respectively.
Bra with warmer pockets
A bra including a front with a right cup, a left cup, a right strap, and a left strap, at least one pocket in each of the right and left cups that are shaped and dimensioned to accept warming inserts, a back, and sides connecting the right cup to the back and the left cup to the back.
Heated sock to keep the wearer feet and toes warm
A heated sock to keep the wearer's feet and toes warm, is disclosed. The heated socks comprise a pocket for oxygen-activated chemical heating pouch which generates heat when exposed to air, and distributed to the whole feet from toe to ankle and heel through friction caused by the wearer when walking, jumping or other activities. The heated socks are provided with the extra cushion on the bottom of the feet to aid in comfort for the wearer. The heated socks keep the feet dry from moisture and perspiration.
HOLDING ELEMENT FOR AN ACTIVE ARTICLE OF CLOTHING
A holding element is intended to be affixed to an active article of clothing at two spaced apart locations. It is provided with first electrical terminals for connection to an activation unit, which is to be secured to the article of clothing by the holding element, second electrical terminals for connection to a functional component of the active article of clothing and electrically conductive paths between the first and second terminals, the second electrical terminals being placed where the holding element is intended to be affixed to the article of clothing. The holding element is arranged to hold the activation unit between the holding element and the article of clothing between the two spaced apart locations and the holding element is flexible so that it shapes itself around the activation unit when the activation unit is introduced between the holding element and the article of clothing.
