Water Submersion Detection Switch
A water submersion detection system that may include a buoyant device having a conductive surface, and a housing enclosing the buoyant device and having conductive elements. The conductive elements may include a first set of one or more nonadjacent conductive elements that are electrically connected, and a second set of one or more nonadjacent conductive elements that are electrically connected. The system may include a submersion alert device that activates responsive to the buoyant device contacting the housing.
VEHICLE LIQUID LEVEL TANK SENSING SYSTEM AND RELATED METHODS
A liquid level sensing system for a vehicle tank may include a liquid level display including a display panel and a first number of visual indicators carried by the display panel. The system may also include capacitive sensors to be coupled to the vehicle tank to sense a second number of possible liquid levels being greater than the first number of visual indicators. In addition, the system may include a controller configured to drive the visual indicators in a modulation pattern based upon the capacitive sensors to thereby display a sensed liquid level having a resolution corresponding to the second number of possible liquid levels.
FLUID LEVEL WAKE-UP FUNCTIONALITY
A reduction device includes a housing defining an input chamber configured to receive exhaust from a power source, an output chamber, an exhaust channel configured to direct the exhaust from the input chamber to the output chamber, and a longitudinal axis. The reduction device also includes a treatment unit disposed in the exhaust channel and along the longitudinal axis. The treatment unit is configured to at least partly remove pollutant species from the exhaust. The reduction device also includes an attenuation component disposed in the housing and radially outward of the treatment unit. The attenuation component is fluidly connected to the exhaust channel, and is configured to attenuate a range of frequencies corresponding to operation of the power source. Additionally, the exhaust channel prohibits exhaust entering the input chamber from exiting the housing without passing through the treatment unit.
SUBMERSIBLE AUTONOMOUS FILL-LEVEL MEASUREMENT SYSTEM
A self-sustaining sensor is provided, being configured to detect a fill level, a limit level, or a pressure of a medium or to measure an interface of a mixture of media in a transport container, the sensor including: a closed housing configured to be submerged in the medium; and a sensor element arrangement including one or more sensor elements arranged in or on the housing, in which the sensor is configured to rest on a bottom of the container and/or to float on a separating layer of the mixture of media during measurement, without being fixed to the container. A self-sustaining fill level measurement system, limit level measurement system, or pressure measurement system is also provided. A method for detecting a fill level or a limit level or a pressure of a medium or for interface measurement of a mixture of media in a transport container is also provided.
Fluid Output Measurement and Analysis System
Embodiments described herein are directed to an automatic fluid measurement system including a fluid collection system configured to drain a fluid from a patient, and a short wave infrared imaging system configured to image the collection container to provide a high contrast, high resolution image and determine a volume of fluid disposed therein. In an embodiment, the system can determine a fluid flow rate, or determine a presence or concentration of foreign particles within the collection container. One or more cameras can image different portions of the container, or can include different focal lengths. Images of the collection container can be communicated to remote computing devices for further analysis.
FLUID END OF LIFE SENSORS
In a liquid level monitor for use with a liquid container of a liquid-consuming device, a light source transmits a light beam into the liquid container at a non-normal angle of incidence respective to a wall of the liquid container. A photodetector is positioned in the path of one of (i) the light beam after passing through the liquid container when the light beam is not refracted by liquid in the liquid container and (ii) the light beam after passing through the liquid container when the light beam is refracted by liquid in the liquid container. In another approach, the sensor for detecting empty includes a vibrator and a vibration sensor, and an electronic processor is programmed to determine whether the liquid container is empty of liquid based on the detected vibration of the liquid container.
METHOD AND SYSTEM FOR SEPARATING AND ANALYZING MULTIPHASE IMMISCIBLE FLUID MIXTURES
A sample of a first aqueous liquid phase is drawn from a first one of a plurality of separation vessels in response to determining that a first separation operation in the first separation vessel has completed. First aqueous liquid phase sample data is obtained by analyzing the first aqueous liquid phase sample with at least one sensor. The first aqueous liquid phase sample data is transmitted to an external multiphase flow meter (MPFM) to calibrate, control, or optimize an operation of the MPFM. A sample of a second aqueous liquid phase is drawn from a second one of the plurality of separation vessels in response to determining that a second separation operation in the second separation vessel has completed. Second aqueous liquid phase sample data is obtained by analyzing the second aqueous liquid phase sample with the at least one sensor. The second aqueous liquid phase sample data is transmitted to the external multiphase flow meter. The first separation operation in the first separation vessel and the second separation operation in the second separation vessel are concurrent.
METHOD FOR INDICATING EXCHANGE OF A FUEL VAPOR ABSORBER AND A VEHICLE WITH AN INDICATOR THEREFORE
An indicator is provided in a vehicle for indicating necessity of change of a fuel vapor absorber in a venting line of a vehicle tank, especially a methanol tank for fuel cell vehicles.
LN2 fill gauge level indicating device
Method, system, apparatus, and/or device for determining when the dewar is filled with a medium. The fill gauge level apparatus includes a cylindrical body. The cylindrical body has a base on one end, a flange on an opposite open end and a cavity. The fill gauge level apparatus includes a fill gauge level device. The fill gauge level device is coupled to the cylindrical body and is positioned within the cavity. The fill gauge level devices includes a sensor for measuring a medium within a shipper. The fill gauge level devices includes an indicator. The indicator provides an indication when the medium has been filled to a threshold level within the shipper.
