DIELECTRIC-CONSTANT-INSENSITIVE FLUID LEVEL SENSOR FOR DIRECTLY INSERTING INTO A HIGH DIELECTRIC CONSTANT FLUID
A dielectric-constant-insensitive fluid level sensor for directly inserting into a high dielectric constant fluid is disclosed. According to one embodiment, the fluid level sensor includes a first set of stacked series capacitors where each capacitor in the first set is formed by two coplanar electrodes and a dielectric space between the electrodes. Each stack of series capacitors in the first set includes at least one capacitor having a first molded carrier as the dielectric space in series with another capacitor having a first fluid cavity as the dielectric space. In this embodiment, the total capacitance of the first set of stacked series capacitors varies as a function of the level of the fluid within the first fluid cavity.
Probe for phase transition detection
The invention discloses a probe for detecting changes of a medium in a container, comprising: a process connection for connecting the probe to the container, wherein the process connection is part of a housing, especially, an integral part of a housing; the housing comprising at least one microwave chip for generating microwaves, which chip is connected to at least one antenna, wherein the antenna transmits and receives the microwaves in the direction of the medium; an interface for connecting the probe to a higher-level unit; and a data processing unit which is designed to receive data, especially, measurement data, from the higher-level unit via the interface and to transmit data to the higher-level unit, to activate the microwave chip, and to process signals that are dependent on the received microwaves.
LIQUID SUPPLY SYSTEM AND LIQUID PREPARATION METHOD
A liquid preparation method is provided. The method includes measuring, with a detection member, a quantity of a liquid stored in a liquid tank by emitting a detection signal toward a floating member positioned in a tube. The tube extends in a height direction of the liquid tank and fluidly connects to two connecting ports of the liquid tank that are located at opposite sides of a surface of the liquid, and the position of the floating member in the tube varies according to a level of the liquid in the liquid tank. The method also includes regulating the liquid in the liquid tank in response to the quantity of the liquid in the liquid tank.
Self-filling graduated cylinder system
A self-filling graduated cylinder system for efficiently filling a graduated cylinder with a chemical solution. The self-filling graduated cylinder system generally includes a graduated cylinder having an interior, an upper end, an upper opening in the upper end a lower end opposite of the upper end, and a check valve attached to the graduated cylinder near the lower end of the graduated cylinder. The check valve is adapted to allow a liquid chemical to flow upwardly through the check valve into the graduated cylinder and to prevent the liquid chemical within the interior of the graduated cylinder from flowing downwardly through the check valve. A vacuum device is fluidly connected to the graduated cylinder to draw the liquid chemical upwardly to an upper level within the graduated cylinder. Alternatively, a pump device pumps liquid chemical into the graduated cylinder.

Custom Sight Level Gauge, Field Assembly
The present disclosure provides for an armored sight level gauge field assembly for placement between fittings to show liquid level, including an elongated cylindrical transparent sight tube shield and a sight tube extending through the sight tube shield. First and second receiver plates define passages for the sight tube to extend therethrough, each receiver plate also sealing the shield. A U-shaped guard is removably connected to each receiver plate and provides a structural protective enclosure, substantially enclosing the sight tube shield. First and second connector plates attach to each receiver plate, and each connector plate defines an opening to receive ends of the sight tube for fluid communication between the sight tube and the fittings, each connector plate comprising a nozzle extending therefrom, opposite said opening, in coaxial alignment with the sight tube. Each nozzle is positionable between and removable from the spaced apart fittings.
