A body impact protection system includes an inner layer and an impact force dampening and defusing structure. The inner layer includes a material composition and is adjacent to a body part when the body impact protection system is worn. The impact force dampening and defusing structure is juxtaposed to the inner layer and includes a plurality of components. The components function to reduce pressure on the body part from an impact force on a layer by layer basis. Each layer of the system dampens and defuses the impact force such that, by the time it reaches the body part, it has been substantially attenuated and spread over a large area.

A shin guard includes a protective plate having a front face and a rear face. The rear face is contoured to fit around a shin of a wearer of the shin guard. Further, the shin guard includes a three dimensional image element carried on the front face. This image element projects an image outline through a sock worn over the shin guard. A sports pad is provided including an outer shell defining a pocket and a pad received and held in the pocket. A three dimensional image element is captured between said outer shell and the front face of the pad. That image element projects an image outline through the outer shell to enhance the uniform of the player wearing the sports pad.

There are provided firefighter protective pants including an inner liner, an outer shell and two pant legs. The invention disclosed herein is a protective support for joints and extremities comprising a structure for securing the support to the body in the vicinity of the joint, one or more elongated resilient hinges that are attached to the support. Each resilient hinge spans a parasagittal plane of the joint and has a superior end, an opposite inferior end, and an intermediate section there between, the hinge also defining a cross-sectional thickness that is at its minimum near the superior end and inferior end, but gradually increases along a length of the hinge such that the intermediate section defines the hinge's maximum cross-sectional thickness. Each hinge may define a plurality of longitudinal ribs and optional transverse ribs that aid in structural integrity of the hinge and may have a generally hourglass shape, and with the superior and inferior ends adapted to conform to the various superficial contours of the joint or extremity.

A protective pad assembly for removably positioning on an arm or a leg of a user of the protective pad assembly for protecting an elbow or a knee of the user. The protective pad assembly comprises an outer protective unit including a protective cushion pad configured to protect the elbow or the knee of the user from impact, and a self-retaining device mounted to the outer protective unit for retaining the outer protective unit on the arm or leg of the user. The self-retaining device includes a resilient retaining split-ring clamp having two opposite free ends spaced from one another. The free ends of the resilient retaining split-ring clamp are circumferentially expandable or contractable relative to one another for retaining the protective pad on an arm or a leg of the user of the protective pad assembly over one of the elbow and the knee thereof.

A system for a cleaning device including a knee pad assembly and a cleaning assembly is disclosed. The knee pad assembly includes knees pads that include a cushion for providing protection to the knees of the user. Further, the knee pads include attaching members that allow for the cleaning assembly to be removably mounted to the knee pads. The cleaning assembly includes at least one cleaning cloth that includes attaching members that cooperates with the attaching members of the knee pads to removably attach the at least one cleaning cloth to the knee pads. Thereby allowing the user wearing the knee pads to complete necessary task while on their knees and clean the floor at the same time. The system for the cleaning device provides protection and safety to the user in addition to increasing the efficiency of the user.
