Weighing system and weighing method
A weighing system for weighing particulate material such as powders, granules and the like, and particularly particulate foodstuffs. The system includes: a weighing device (9); a vibrator unit (11); a transfer receptacle (7) having an opening; a robotic arm (5) arranged to move the transfer receptacle (7); and a control system (13) arranged to control the robotic arm (5) and the vibrator unit (11); wherein the transfer receptacle (7) is arranged to receive a quantity of the particulate material through the opening; the control system (13) is arranged to actuate the robotic arm (5) to move the transfer receptacle adjacent the weighing device (9), and to actuate the vibrator unit (11) to vibrate the transfer receptacle (7) thereby causing particulate material located in the transfer receptacle (7) to dispense from the transfer receptacle onto the weighing device (9).
Combination weighing device including a movable and detachable discharge chute
A combination weighing apparatus includes a combination weighing unit configured to store articles supplied from outside into each of a plurality of weighing hoppers, to select a combination of measured values from a plurality of measured values of the articles corresponding to each of the weighing hoppers such that a total value results in a target measured value, and to cause the hoppers corresponding to the combination to discharge the articles, in which a discharge chute that receives the articles discharged from the combination weighing unit and that supplies the articles to a processing device for a subsequent process is provided, and the discharge chute is provided to be movable between a first position where the discharge chute receives the articles discharged from the combination weighing unit and a second position where the discharge chute is made to be detachable from a frame supporting the combination weighing unit.

WEIGHING APPARATUS
[Problem] To provide a combination weighing apparatus that reduces power consumption during opening and closing operations of a hopper gate.
[Solution] In a combination weighing apparatus 1, a control unit 70 controls a stepping motor 60 via a control signal that is input to the stepping motor 60. The control signal that is input to the stepping motor 60 is a voltage value corresponding to a desired current value. The control unit changes the control signal to the stepping motor 60 in conjunction with a change in the settings of the opening and closing speed of the gate 20. As a result, it becomes possible to supply power needed for the operation of the gate 20, and power can be saved.

SAND QUANTIFICATION SKID
A sand quantification system includes a box configured to be positioned over a tank. The box includes an openable bottom configured, such that, when the bottom is open, contents within the box are dumped into the tank. The box also includes a filter configured to allow liquid to drain out of the box without opening the bottom. The system also includes a load cell configured to measure a weight of the box and the contents therein without measuring a weight of the tank.
COMBINATION WEIGHING DEVICE
