PROTECTIVE ARTICLES HAVING A PLURALITY OF CORE MEMBERS
A protective guard for reducing injury to a shin of a person includes a conformable substrate and a plurality of core members disposed adjacent to a surface of the conformable substrate. The plurality of core members are arranged such that a first of the core members is rotationally movable about at least one axis relative to a second of the core members. A flexible fabric membrane comprised of natural or synthetic fibers is positioned adjacent to at least one of the conformable substrate and the plurality of core members.
Hand cover apparatus and method of use
A hand cover apparatus used to protect a user and others from microorganisms where a hand cover can be connected and mounted to the user's garments, personal effects, or arm. When connected and mounted, the hand cover can be oriented in such a way as to allow rapid, one-handed insertion. As the user approaches a door or object, the user inserts his or her hand into the hand cover and reaches for the door handle to open the door or reaches for an object to manipulate it. This apparatus provides a physical barrier between a user's hand and a handle or object, and its use prevents the spread of microorganisms.
Glove having electronic components and a flexible printed circuit board
A glove having a palm section, a dorsal section and an electrical device including at least one first component, one second component and a signal line. The first component is provided on the dorsal section and the second component is provided on a section of the glove that is different to the dorsal section. The signal line connects the components to each other electrically and includes a flexible printed circuit board with at least one conductor. The third component is provided on the palm section, on the dorsal section or on a lateral section of the glove, and the second component is provided at the location of the glove that rests on the index finger or the metacarpophalangeal joint of the index finger of a user's hand in the worn condition of the glove. The conductor is designed redundantly. A system including a glove and a functional unit.
AN IMPACT RESISTANT PAD
An impact resistant pad, for example, for a garment such as a glove (10). The impact resistant element is formed of a plurality of upstanding interconnected walls (1) arranged in a lattice pattern, the lattice being arranged in a Penrose tiling pattern.
Protective device for use with a glove
A color splash effect is established by a darker backdrop color of an outer surface of a liquid proof and heat resistant glove in the event that a portion of the glove ruptures or fails. The color splash effect is accomplished by a lighter and brighter color being visible through the rupture in the glove. The lighter and brighter color may be formed on or as part of a protective member positioned beneath the outer layer. The protective member also protects the wearer against sharp objects contacting the outer layer of the glove and moving over the protective member. Some embodiments provide that the protective member is in a thumb crotch region of the glove.
FIGHT GLOVE
A striking glove may comprise a wrist band; an inner glove for receiving a hand; an outer shell conforming generally to the inner glove; one or more padding layers positioned between the inner glove and the outer shell; and an internal support system between the inner glove and the outer shell. The internal support system comprises at least a first and a second channel disposed on the dorsal side of the glove, and a first strap and a second strap at least partially disposed within the first and second channels and configured in an overlapped and crossed configuration, wherein each of the first and the second strap is configured to be retained within and slide within the respective channel, and wherein ends of the first and second straps extend from a dorsal cavity between the inner glove and the outer shell to an exterior of the striking glove.
Hand warmer with viewing window
A hand warmer with viewing window includes an insulated hand warmer with a viewing window, a protective cover flap, and a sliding viewing surface of polycarbonate or acrylic plastic the user opens to remove prevent condensation.
GLOVE AS WELL AS SYSTEM COMPRISING GLOVE
MEDICAL HAND GUARD
A medical hand guard that serve as a protective barrier between a user's hand and potentially contaminated surfaces is disclosed. The medical hand guard can comprise a base pad and first and second pockets that are configured to receive a respective thumb and finger of the user. The medical hand guard can define a contact surface opposite the first and second pockets.
Wrist guard
The present invention relates to a wrist guard and provides a wrist guard that does not pressurize the entire wrist portion but allows for pressurizing only the radius portion and the ulna portion, thereby not only performing a wrist protection function in a stable manner, but also not hindering blood circulation since other portions of the wrist are not pressurized, and thus may be conveniently used since side-effects such as hand numbness or hand swelling do not occur even when wearing same for a long period, and the position and thickness of a pressurizing pad for pressurizing the radius portion and the ulna portion of the wrist may be adjusted according to the needs of a user, and thus the wrist guard may be more conveniently used since same may be altered into an optimal state according to physical conditions of the user or environmental conditions.
