A face mask (90) comprises an instrument shielding apparatus (91) which comprises an instrument shielding device (92) which is connected to the face mask (90) by an adapter (89). The adapter (89) comprises an instrument accommodating housing (15) through which an instrument bore (25) extends therethrough. The instrument accommodating housing (15) terminates at one end in a first main port (20) engageable with an instrument port (7) of the face mask (90), and in the other end in a second main port (23). The instrument shielding device (92) comprises a shielding sleeve (95) a first end (96) of which is secured by a coupling ring (98) to the second main port (23) of the adapter (89), and a second end (97) of which is secured in a storage chamber (94) of a sleeve storing housing (93) of the instrument shielding device (92). The sleeve storing housing (93) is sealably engageable with a proximal end (58) of an endoscope (10), and the shielding sleeve extends from a collapsed stored state in the storage chamber (94) to the adapter (89) for shielding the endoscope (10).

A support frame for being used with a face mask includes a resilient transverse rod and a longitudinal extension longitudinally extending from a middle portion of the transverse rod and having a strip-shaped or belt-shaped pattern including two ends connected with the transverse rod in a way that a part of the transverse rod and the longitudinal extension combinedly define a hollow portion. Therefore, when a user wears the mask quipped with the support frame, the longitudinal extension and the transverse rod expand the mask outwardly, such that the mask won't be completely attached on the mouth and nose of the user, thereby effectively enhancing comfort of the user wearing the mask. Further, the support frame can be applied to any masks with a fold portion and can be reused. The support frame has a light and simplified structure having a small size to be conveniently stored.

Provided is a protective apparatus comprising a face shield and visor assembly having a plurality of apertures, wherein the face shield extends beyond the top of the visor to provide additional protection from foreign matter.

The present disclosure provides a dental procedure safety device including a face mask and a face shield attached to each other to form a modified face mask shield device, where the face shield overlaps in front of the face mask. The device further includes a dental dam frame including a plurality of nibs projecting outwardly from an outer perimeter of the dental dam frame for attachment of a dental dam membrane, such that a portion of the dental dam membrane is attached over an upper horizontal member of the dental dam frame. An attachment device, positioned over the portion of the dental dam membrane attached over the upper horizontal member, detachably connects to a rear surface of a lower end of the face mask, such that the modified face mask shield device is positioned in front of the attachment device.

An apparatus has: a malleable nose bridge strip that is structured to be bent by a user in use into a shape that conforms with a lateral nose profile that extends between opposed sides of a nose and crossing a bridge of the nose; an outer sleeve with an internal receptacle enclosing the malleable nose bridge strip; and a face mask connector on a user-contacting face of the outer sleeve. A method includes securing an outer sleeve across a nose-bridge-seating zone of an external surface of a face mask, the outer sleeve enclosing a malleable nose bridge strip, in which the outer sleeve is secured to the face mask via a face mask connector on the outer sleeve engaging the external surface of the face mask.

An eyeglasses-like frame may include a central section that horizontally traverses a wearer's face. The central section may include a first cheek portion sized and configured to be disposed at least proximate a cheek of the wearer, and a second cheek portion sized and configured to be disposed at least proximate a cheek of the wearer. A bridge portion may be generally horizontally disposed between the first cheek portion and the second cheek portion. The first cheek portion, the second cheek portion, and the bridge portion may be disposed below a lower portion of the wearer's eyes. The eyeglasses-like frame may include a left temple section connected to the central section via a first hinge and a right temple section connected to the central section by a second hinge. A mask may be connected to the frame and the mask may be adjustable to tighten around the wearer's face.

The present disclosure provides a dental procedure safety device including a face mask and a face shield attached to each other to form a modified face mask shield device, where the face shield overlaps in front of the face mask. A face mask is provided. The mask comprises a body defining an interior side and an exterior side of the face mask; a one-way inlet valve that only allows gas to pass from the exterior side of the body to the interior side; and a one-way outlet valve that only allows gas to pass from the interior side of the body to the exterior side. By providing a face mask configured in this manner, the mask is able to provide fresh air to the wearer while reducing the likelihood of contamination by pathogens or other toxic matter.

The present disclosure provides a VR face mask and a manufacturing method thereof. The VR face mask includes a mask body, and a first PU covering layer arranged on a surface of the mask body to be attached close to a human face. The mask body includes a mask bottom layer arranged away from the first PU covering layer, and a filling layer arranged between the first PU covering layer and the mask bottom layer.

A face mask device utilizing a sheet of fluid penetration resistant material that includes first and second edge portions that are foldable against one another. Such folding creates a compact face mask that only covers the nose of the user and is employable during medical visits and also facilitates eating in public settings.
