DEVICE FOR PROTECTING AT LEAST ONE PART OF THE FACE
A device for protecting at least one part of the face of a user to prevent the spread of projections from the respiratory tract. A single flexible sheet, made of a material impermeable to the spread of these projections, and defining a substantially rectangular or square strip and at least two first straps each coming from one of the ends of the upper edge of the strip, the strip of the sheet being shaped to cover at least the nose and the mouth of the user, the upper edge of the strip resting on the top of the nose or on the forehead, the two first straps being arranged to be tied together at the back of the user's head, passing over their ears.
SYSTEMS AND METHODS FOR PRODUCING USER-CUSTOMIZED FACIAL MASKS AND PORTIONS THEREOF
Various implementations include methods of identifying data for producing a user-customized mask, systems for producing the same, a user customized mask, and an elongated support. To produce the mask or elongated support, 3D-data is received that defines the contour and dimensions of at least a portion of user's face. The 3D-data is determined by analyzing vector data associated with an area around the nose and mouth of the user, for example. A contact area(s) and a face contacting surface within the contact area are identified on the portion of the face of the user based on the 3D-data. And, structure-data based on the 3D-data and the identified contact area is provided for designing and producing a mask contacting surface. The mask contacting surface causes a portion of the mask to match the contour of the face contacting surface of the user.
Face Mask Assembly
A face mask assembly for facilitating a user to eat and drink while wearing a face mask includes a face mask for wearing on a user's face. The face mask has a mouth opening extending through the face mask to expose the user's mouth when the face mask is worn to facilitate the user to eat and drink while wearing the face mask. A flap is hingedly coupled to the face mask and the flap is positionable in a closed position having the flap covering the mouth opening. Conversely, the flap is positionable in an open position having the mouth opening is exposed to facilitate the user to eat and drink. A pair of straps is each disposed on the face mask for positioning around a respective one of the user's ears to retain the face mask on the user's face.
Athletic mask and helmet
Novel and advantageous masks and helmets to protect an athlete's head and face from impacts and injuries. In particular, the present disclosure relates to novel and advantageous masks and helmets to help protect a baseball or softball catcher's face and head from concussive forces of an incoming ball strike. A mask of the present disclosure may be coupled to a helmet, or may be configured for use without a helmet in some embodiments. The mask may provide a generally cone-shaped structure in front of a wearer's face, so as to provide an angled surface for contact with an incoming ball. Additionally, a shock absorbing material may be provided at an interface between the helmet and mask to reduce and distribute force transfer between the mask and the helmet.
Protective Gear
Protective gear for a user having an inner panel and an outer panel that is configured so the user can use: only the outer panel; only the inner panel; or both panels together. This allows the user to launder, change and/or replace either panel, without sacrificing the utility of the other panel. The outer panel and the inner panel are temporarily attached to one another when used together. The outer panel's top edge along the user's nose and below the eyes is reinforced with a pliable material, allowing the user to form the top edge of the outer panel to the user's nose and face. There is a small gap in the reinforcements at the nose area, which allows the protective gear to be folded and stored. Both the inner panel and outer panel are formed to cover the user's nose and to accommodate the eye protection worn by the user. The protective gear is configured to give flexibility to the user by allowing the user to choose: (i) an outer panel with pockets for storing items; (ii) to incorporate lights on the outside of the outer panel, allowing the user to be more visible; (iii) to incorporate a flashlight on the outside of the outer panel; (iv) inner and outer panels with access to the user's mouth for drinking, smoking or vaping, without removing the protective gear; and (v) venting through the outer panel that is aesthetically pleasing to the user.
GAUZE MASK WITH FOLDING LINES CAPABLE OF ENABLING THE GAUZE MASK TO BE FOLDED INTO A FLAT PACKAGE OR UNFOLDED INTO A THREE DIMENSIONAL CONFIGURATION
a gauze mask with folding lines capable of enabling the gauze mask to be folded into a flat package or unfolded into a three dimensional configuration, includes two folding portions connected to a main covering portion and two main pieces. Each of the two folding portions includes at least three folding pieces, when in use, the folding pieces will be stretched out and prop up one another, which provides a better support and enables to the gauze mask to be unfolded into a three dimensional structure. When unfolded, the gauze mask can obtain a strong support and three dimensional sense.
Nose Mask
The nose mask is intended to be used during Airborne Pandemic. The Nose Mask is a single Triangle/Cone shaped that covers only the nose, that comes with two ear elastic bands or a single head elastic band for support. The Nose Mask is designed to be disposable with filter for better protection and minimize the passage of aerosols, fluids and airborne pathogens agents or to be made with washable material allowing users to re-use it.
ANTI-FOGGING FACEMASK
An anti-fogging facemask for preventing fogging of the wearer's glasses or goggles is described herein. The anti-fogging facemask includes an outer facemask and an inner facemask. The inner facemask is attached to the outer facemask. The inner facemask provides a barrier to prevent exhaled air from traveling through the upper end of the facemask. The inner facemask directs exhaled air downwards. The outer facemask forms a seal at an upper portion of the wearer's nose. The facemask may be configured to serve as a CO2 concentrating mask for temporary relief of allergic rhinitis symptoms.
Headwear articles that are selectively convertible to a mask configuration
A headwear article that converts between a headwear configuration and a mask configuration. The headwear article has a crown for covering at least a portion of a head of a wearer, a visor attached to a front portion of the crown, and at least one mask support element coupled to the crown. From the headwear configuration, at least a portion of the rear portion of the crown is collapsible into the front portion of the crown to position the headwear in the mask configuration. In the mask configuration, the at least one mask support element is configured to secure the headwear over a portion of a face of the wearer.
NEGATIVE PRESSURE PROCEDURE MASK
A mask for a patient and a method for reducing exposure of aerosol particles emitted from the patient to other individuals. The mask may have an inner chamber configured to enclose a nose and a mouth of the patient. The mask may further have a negative pressure chamber fluidly connected to the inner chamber. The negative pressure chamber may have an outer opening and a suction opening. The outer opening may be covered by a seal. The seal may be configured to be cut or opened to form a device opening providing access to the nose of the patient. The device opening may receive a medical device and form a seal around the medical device. The suction opening may be configured to couple to a suction device for removing the aerosol particles located within the inner chamber and the negative pressure chamber.
