A truck scale assembly comprised of a payload containment portion affixed to a frame, an array of load cell assemblies, and a display screen positioned on a pickup truck surface. The array features load cell assemblies arranged in spaced apart relationship along an underside of the payload containment portion to allow load information from various regions of the containment portion to be communicated to and visually displayed by the display screen, allowing a truck operator to understand payload weight and relative distribution in the payload containment portion of the pickup truck. One embodiment of the assembly is an aftermarket drop in liner installed in an existing truck bed assembly, and a second embodiment is factory installed, with the array sandwiched between an underside of the truck bed and the truck frame. Information from the array is transmitted by wired connection or wirelessly to the display screen.

PORTABLE SCALE

An electronic scale holdable by a hand of a user. The electronic scale can have a handle portion sized and shaped for an ergonomic fit to a user's hand holding the handle. The electronic scale can have a batter compartment, such as in a head of the scale, for removably receiving a battery. A load cell of the electronic scale can be configured to measure a weight of a fish suspended from the load cell below the scale.

WINDSHIELD FOR BALANCE
20230113500 · 2023-04-13 ·

A windshield for a balance is provided, and the windshield to be attached to a balance to define a weighing chamber, includes openable and closable doors constituting portions of the weighing chamber, opening and closing mechanisms configured to open and close the doors, sensors configured to detect movement of the doors, and a control unit configured to command the opening and closing mechanism to open and close the door when a movement of the door from a stationary state is detected by the sensors. When an operator slightly moves the door from a stationary state to open or close the door, the sensor detects this, and the door is automatically opened or closed.

A windshield structure (30) is provided for a weighing balance (100) having a base body (48), a floor (46), and a load receiving arrangement (11). The base body and the floor, which is attached to the base body, are positioned horizontal to the ground surface. The load receiving arrangement has a load receiver, with the windshield structure arranged below the load receiver. The windshield structure has a central portion and a circumferential portion that surrounds the central portion. The central portion also has a topological surface with a plurality of alternating hills (32) and valleys (31) which aid in regulating airflow below the load receiver.

WEIGHING DEVICE

It is an object of the present invention to provide a weighing device in which dropping of articles from gripping means and reductions in weighing precision are suppressed. In a weighing device (100), when at least one of an operation state of grippers (30) and weighing results from weighing units (40) fulfills any condition from among “a weight value of articles (A) weighed by the weighing units (40) not being a preset target weight value,” “an operating distance in an operation in which the articles (A) are held by gripping members (32) being greater than a prescribed range,” and “the operating distance in the operation in which the articles (A) are held by the gripping members (32) being less than the prescribed range,” the articles (A) gripped by the grippers (30) are returned to an article group accommodation container (52) by a control unit (70) without said articles (A) being discharged to a discharge chute. As a result, a situation where the grippers (30) operate while still holding “articles for which the weight value is not the target weight value” is avoided.
