Automated peritoneal dialysis device

The present disclosure relates to an automated peritoneal dialysis (APD) system using gravity to deliver fluid from one or more source dialysate bags to the patient as the destination. The present disclosure further relates to a load cell protection assembly that prevents the load cells associated with the delivery of fluid in the system from experiencing an overload condition in either the down direction or the up direction, while maximizing safety and efficiency of the system while minimizing excess cost and complexity.

Multiple weighing scale

A multiple weighing scale includes a first measuring device and at least a second measuring device; both for detecting masses of objects. The weighing scale includes a single measuring plate, which is shared by all the measuring devices, arranged in contact with the first measuring device at least in an initial operating configuration and at least one first mobile structure, for selectively moving the second measuring device so as to selectively cause the second measuring device to come into contact with the measuring plate, in order to allow the measurement to be performed by the second measuring device instead of the first measuring device.

Overload prevention mechanism

Provided is an overload prevention mechanism having a structure that protects a weight sensor with a floating action and ensuring the reproducibility of the return position of the weight sensor. The overload prevention mechanism has a resilient member that is interposed between the weight sensor and the case, supports the weight sensor in a pressing manner against the case, and when a certain plate load or greater is imposed causes the weight sensor to separate from the case and thereby be released from the load, a guide member that is arranged in a standing manner between the weight sensor and the case, and a guide receiving seat that is provided in the weight sensor or the case and engages with the guide member.

A WEIGHING PLATFORM FOR ANIMALS AND A PROCESS OF WEIGHTING AN ANIMAL WITH A WEIGHING PLATFORM

The present invention belongs to the technical field of animal weighing. The invention relates to an animal-weighing platform (1) comprising a plate (2) and at least one load cell (5). The platform (1) further includes: an accelerometer (9) fixed on said plate (2); and a processing unit (6) capable of identifying and processing the data provided by at least one load cell (5) and which includes a diagnostic module (14) capable of identifying and processing the data provided by said accelerometer (19). The present invention further relates to an animal-weighing process.

Mobile pallet scale

A mobile scale including a lower frame having at least one load cell and an upper deck having at least one load cell engagement surface for engaging the at least one load cell. The upper deck is movable from a first position where the at least one load cell engagement surface is engaged with the at least one load cell to a second position where the at least one load cell engagement surface is disengaged from the at least one load cell. Also, a method of weighing and moving a load. The load is placed on the mobile scale described above. The weight of the load is determined using the load cells when the upper deck is in the first position. The mobile scale is then lifted to transition the upper deck from the first position to the second position and moved to a new location.

Multifunction Livestock Measurement Station
20180242558 · 2018-08-30 ·

A multifunction livestock measurement system provides automatic hip location for animal height (hip height) assessment using a side-looking optical system. An automatic implementation identifies the hip through an analysis of the underside of the hindquarters of the animal. A manual version identifies the hip manually in a similar image. Automatic ear tag reading, weight measurement and animal temperature measurement can be integrated into the station.

PERITONEAL DIALYSIS MACHINE
