Lighted visor and method of retrofitting a protective suit
A lighted visor and method of retrofitting a protective suit with a lighted visor are disclosed. The lighted visor includes a shield and at least one light source that is conformable to the shape of the shield or visor on which is it disposed.
Anti-Fog, Anti-Glare Facemasks
A coating composition that is incorporated into a facemask to reduce fogging and glare is provided. For example, in one embodiment, the facemask contains a shield or visor formed from a transparent substrate having at least one surface applied with the coating composition of the present disclosure. The coating composition contains a large amount of nanoparticles, desirably greater than 10 wt %.
FACIAL MASK
A facial mask for in protecting the facial region from water or other elements said mask comprising a mask body and a team or closure moans.
NOVEL UNIVERSAL ACROSS PLATFORM ADHESIVE FACESHIELD FOR USE WITH CURRENTLY EXISTING AND OR FUTURE PERSONAL PROTECTIVE EQUIPMENT SUCH AS RESPIRATORS/FACEMASKS
The present disclosure relates to a novel universal across platform adhesive faceshield for use with respirators/facemasks that are currently existing and those that will be developed for use as personal protective equipment.
FACE SHIELD APPARATUS
A pair of opposed locking clasps couples a temple of a frame to a top bar of the frame. The pair of opposed locking clasps are comprised of a first locking clasp, a second locking clasp, and a hinge. The first locking clasp is comprised of a first base, a nub disposed proximate to a first end of the first base, and a protrusion disposed proximate to a second end of the first base. The second locking clasp is comprised of a second body and an indent that substantially corresponds to a shape of the protrusion, the protrusion being disposed in the indent to lock the first locking clasp to the second locking clasp. The hinge couples the first locking clasp to the second locking clasp.
PROTECTIVE HOOD SYSTEM
A protective hood system for a user is disclosed. The hood system includes a hood defining a substantially cylindrical shape and is designed to surround a head of the user. The hood system further includes a neck portion disposed at a bottom end of the hood and is designed to contact a neck of the user. An air filter and air source inlet are coupled to the hood. The air source inlet is designed to connect to an air source which supplies air to the hood.
Safe Dining Mask
This present invention relates to a modified face mask that helps to reduce the spread of airborne pathogens while allowing the wearer to eat and drink without removing their mask. The dual-layer face mask features an internal frame and a middle hinge that allows a user to pull one layer of the mask outwards in a diamond-like shape to create space under the mask, enables the user to insert an eating utensil or straw into their mouth while consuming food or beverages. In this manner, the face mask of the present invention improves the safety of the users and prevents the spread of infectious diseases.
FACE MASK SHIELD FOR PROLONGED USE
The present invention provides a reusable, lightweight face mask comprising a mouth-nose protection shield, an eye protection shield, a hold-down bar strap, and a one-piece frame band. The mouth-nose protection shield and the eye protection shield are affixed individually onto the hold-down bar strap which is further snapped onto the one-piece frame band.
Optical Face Protection Shield, Heated Optical Face Protection Apparatus, and Method
An optical face protection shield is provided having a support body, an optic lens, and an elongate heater. The support body has a user interface. The optic lens is carried by the support body over a user's face configured to protect a user. The elongate heater is carried by the optic lens so as to traverse an expansive surface area of the optic lens. The elongate heater has an elongate resistive heating element and an outer thermally transmissive, peak temperature mitigating, and an electrically insulative cover material encompassing the resistive heating element. A method is also provided.
EYEWEAR LENS COUPLING SYSTEM
An eyewear lens coupling system and methods can be used during assembly of an eyewear. The system and methods may advantageously decrease optical distortion of the lens during assembly and use and/or may also advantageously increase retention of the lens to the eyewear frame to improve the overall quality of the eyewear.
