Stackable Eye Shields
A container having a stack of eye shields, includes a stack of eye shields having a plurality of eye shields stacked one on top of another. The stack of eye shields is in a sloped configuration in which ear pieces of frames of the eye shields are generally aligned with one another and disposed at an angle relative to horizontal of from about 10 to about 35 degrees. A container is provided having a horizontal bottom onto which the stack of eye shields is supported, the container having a top opposite the bottom, the top being sloped to be substantially parallel to the ear pieces of the eye shields of the stack of eye shields.
SMART PROTECTIVE FACE MASK
A protective face mask that includes a power source, ventilation mechanisms, filtering mechanisms, audio and video mechanisms, headphones, a lighting mechanism, a night vision mechanism, a visual zooming mechanism, protective eyewear, a head canopy, a thermometer, a DNA testing mechanism, virus detection mechanisms, radio communication technology, and fiber optics technology.
Self-Disinfecting Face Shield
An article with self-disinfecting and anti-fog properties. In embodiments, the article is a face shield having a transparent substrate configured to extend facing at least a portion of a face of a wearer, and has a first surface adapted to be disposed facing the face of the wearer and second surface disposed opposite to the first surface. The face panel is protected by a sulfonated polymeric layer on the second surface, for killing at least 95% microbes within 30 minutes of contact. The sulfonated polymeric is sufficiently or selectively sulfonated to contain from 10-100 mol % sulfonic acid or sulfonate salt functional groups based on the number of monomer units, for killing at least 99% of microbes within 5 minutes of coming into contact with the face panel. The sulfonated polymeric layer has a T.sub.fog of >15 minutes.
Face and Ear Mask Device
The present invention relates to a face and ear mask device that is comprised of a body, a front surface comprised of a fabric which extends over the nose, mouth, and ears of a user, and an eyeglass-like frame. The body of the device is preferably one that resembles a conventional face mask, with the additional feature of an extension of coverage over the ears. The device is also comprised of an eyeglass frame that can be worn on the head of the user and that may be removably or fixedly-attaches to the rear surface of the body for more convenient and secure coverage. Furthermore, the device includes a filter pocket on the rear surface that allows at least one filter to be stored within the body.
FACE SHIELD, MONITORING SYSTEM AND BARRIER FORMATION IN THE SAME
A face shield and a face shield monitoring and tracking system, which enables the monitoring of the use of the face shield in real time and the transmission and storage of data and information regarding its use for further management and analysis. The face shield is also equipped with an electrostatic field provided on the surface of a front panel, to attract and retain contaminated droplet particles or aerosols present in the environment.
Detection of Tissue Damage from Personal Protective Equipment
Methods and apparatus for detection of tissue damage in users using a PPE device for an extended period of time are disclosed.
FACE SHIELD AND MASK-EQUIPPED FACE SHIELD
Provided are a face shield that can easily be combined and used with various masks and a mask-equipped face shield.
A face shield 1-1 is the face shield 1-1 that is attachable/detachable to/from a mask 2, and covers at least an eye of a face of a user who wears the mask 2. The face shield 1-1 is made of a film 101-1 having flexibility and translucency. At least a pair of cut lines 102L and 102R through which straps 202 of the mask 2 can be inserted are formed in both left and right parts of the face shield 1-1. The cut lines 102 have engagement parts 102a and 102b to be engaged with the straps 202 inserted through the cut lines 102.
LOW HAZE UV BLOCKING REMOVABLE LENS STACK
A protective lens stack comprises a base layer including a polyethylene terephthalate (PET) film containing a UV blocking additive and one or more removable lens layers stacked on top of the base layer. Each of the removable lens layers may include a PET film and a first adhesive disposed on a bottom surface of the PET film. Refractive indices of the base layer and the one or more removable lens layers may be matched to within 0.2. Each layer of the protective lens stack, including the base layer and each of the removable lens layer(s), may have less than 0.5% haze. The protective lens stack may be used as a face shield or may be surface mountable using a second adhesive disposed on a bottom surface of the PET film containing the UV blocking additive.
VISOR FOR FASTENING TO A CAP OR A HEADBAND OR A CLIP
A visor or a headband used for fastening to a cap using press studs. The visor includes as its main component a panel, which has an upper edge and two side edges. One press stud component is provided in each of the upper corner regions of the panel where the upper edge and the side edges meet. At least one stop component is provided at least partially below a path connecting the press stud components to one another.
PERSONAL PROTECTION SYSTEM AND METHOD
A protective headgear system includes a support configured to engage the head of a user, a facial shield having an upper portion coupled to the support and a lower portion having a lower extremity, a flexible sheet coupled to the facial shield, a base carried by the support, a first microphone carried below the lower extremity of the facial shield and preferentially oriented away from the user, a second microphone carried by the base and preferentially oriented toward the user, a first audio generator capable of being sensed by at least one ear of the user, and a second audio generator including a loudspeaker carried by the base such that the loudspeaker is located below the lower extremity of the facial shield and is oriented for preferential sound energy delivery generally away from the user.
