WEARABLE MASK
The wearable mask of the present invention has been developed such that a chin rest and string parts hung over the ears are made of silicone so that the movement of the face and the body is free, the mask is not shaken or separated, and there is no pain in the ears despite long-time use. The mask of the present invention is economical, has excellent marketability, and is advantageous for mass production.
A PERSONAL PROTECTIVE EQUIPMENT
A wearable personal protection comprising a mask configured to be air-tightly secured in contact with the face of a wearer and a face shield configured to be air-tightly connected to a passageway of the mask. The face shield has a front surface having a flared geometry from a bottom edge thereof up to a top edge thereof and backwardly curved lateral sides, with a bottom surface extending at an angle from the front surface, so that the face shield provides a mechanical barrier against aerial bacteria between the environment and the face of the wearer from under the chin as well as from both lateral sides of the wearer's face well up over the nose.
Athletic mask and helmet
Novel and advantageous masks and helmets to protect an athlete's head and face from impacts and injuries. In particular, the present disclosure relates to novel and advantageous masks and helmets to help protect a baseball or softball catcher's face and head from concussive forces of an incoming ball strike. A mask of the present disclosure may be coupled to a helmet, or may be configured for use without a helmet in some embodiments. The mask may provide a generally cone-shaped structure in front of a wearer's face, so as to provide an angled surface for contact with an incoming ball. Additionally, a shock absorbing material may be provided at an interface between the helmet and mask to reduce and distribute force transfer between the mask and the helmet.
Anti-contagion mask
The disclosed anti-contagion facemask embodiments are a family of transparent facemasks that do not obstruct visibility of a person's mouth when worn. One problem with a typical, widely used, facemask is the difficulty in understanding a person speaking when they are wearing the typical facemask. Not only does the listener have to contend with the muffled speech of a person talking through a facemask, communication is made worse by covering up, or otherwise hiding the wearer's mouth and face with opaque filter material. Accordingly, some embodiments described herein present a clear/see-through filtration mask embodiment that does not visibly obstruct a person's mouth by providing a filtration system along or near the periphery of the facemask.
APPARATUS AND METHOD FOR PROVIDING A SANITARY BARRIER FOR A USER OF AN OPTICAL ASSEMBLY
A method and apparatus is provided for providing a barrier for a user of an optical assembly. The optical assembly includes headgear and an optic within a housing. The apparatus includes the barrier including a protective shield defining an opening. The apparatus also includes a mounting fixture configured to attach the protective shield to the optical assembly such that the opening is aligned with an optical axis of the optic to provide an unobstructed path for light to the optic through the opening. The apparatus also includes an adaptive coupling positioned in a gap between the protective shield and the housing and configured to engage the protective shield adjacent the opening to form an airtight seal in the gap between the protective shield and the housing. A method is also provided for installing the apparatus to the optical assembly.
HEADPIECE, FACE SHIELD AND METHOD OF USING A HEADPIECE
A headpiece (1) worn by a user provides air to the user from which airborne disease particles have been removed. The headpiece includes an air guide (2) through which air flows due to fans (13, 14). Antibacterial and/or antiviral devices (3) such as filters and ultraviolet (UV) disinfecting lights operate as air purifiers to purify air that passes through the air guide. The purified air is delivered to an area between the inside surface of a visor (10) and a face (11) of the person wearing the headpiece.
Safety hood with a visor size-independent fastening on the head strap
A safety hood (1), with a head strap (7) for fixation on the head (6) of a user of the hood, has features for adjusting the head strap (7) to different head sizes and/or head shapes. The respirator hood (1) has, further, a visor pane (4) and a flexible hood outer skin (8), which are connected with one another and of which the visor pane (4) is indirectly or directly fastened to the head strap (7). The visor pane (4) is fastened indirectly or directly to the head strap (7) exclusively in the area (10) of the forehead of the user of the hood.
Nanofilter System for Personal and Medical Protective Equipment with Nano-Facemask, Resp. Nano-Faceshield and Method of Manufacturing Thereof
The present invention relates to nanofilters and nanofliter systems for personal and health care protective equipment to protect against health and safety hazards having application in healthcare, industrial, public, domestic environments, They are applied to face masks, respirators, face shields, protective glasses and clothes, to protect healthcare workers and other individuals against microparticles, dust, bacteria, fumes, vapors, gases, allergens, air pollutants, airborne microorganisms and especially nanosized viruses such as influenza, HIV, SARs, SARs-CoV-2. It also relates to a method for fabricating thereof with higher filtration efficiency, and to Nano-face masks, respirators, Nano-face shields exhibiting antibacterial, anti-viral protection and particulate-filtering due to the excellent barrier and filtration properties of the nanofliter system. It is also applied to the delivery of nanoparticles, organic or inorganic with antibacterial, antiviral properties, drugs, therapeutic agents, nanomedicines, or/and compounds, sensors,
Ultraviolet Face Shield Systems for Reducing Germ Transmission
Several embodiments relating to ultraviolet face shield systems and methods of use are provided herein. Such face shield systems feature an ultraviolet light source capable of inactivating, destroying, or killing germs, bacteria, viruses, or other pathogens such as human coronavirus COVID-19, and protecting individual(s) from infection.
HALF MASK FOR THE FACE
A half mask for the face, including one or more covering areas for covering one or both respiratory openings of the person wearing the half mask and one or more fastening areas for fastening the half mask to its wearer, particularly to one or more of their head, neck, and throat, one or more UV-C disinfection units for disinfecting the inhaled and exhaled air and one or more devices for fitting the half mask tightly around the face of its wearer are provided.
