Protective apparel system with a lens assembly
A protective apparel system comprising a surgical helmet including a peripheral device and a surgical garment configured to be disposed over the helmet. The garment comprises a fabric and a face shield defining a sterile barrier between the wearer and the environment. At least one of a coupling member or housing may disposed on the face shield, the coupling member configured for removably couple the peripheral device to the face shield to orient the peripheral device relative to the face shield when the surgical garment is disposed over the surgical helmet. The housing may removably couple a lens assembly to the face shield.
Surgical helmet assembly with a reconfigurable chin bar
A face frame including features for coupling the surgical garment to a surgical helmet. The face frame (524) comprises a lower beam (528) connected by a pair of posts (526, 527). The posts of the face frame comprise a face frame coupler (552, 554) configured to removably couple the face frame to a surgical helmet.
Method of operating a surgical apparel system including a surgical helmet and surgical garment
A surgical garment configured for attachment to a surgical helmet, wherein the surgical garment defines a barrier between the wearer and the environment. The surgical helmet includes a peripheral device, a chin bar, and a coupling member. The coupling member may be recessed within the chin bar. The surgical garment may comprise an attachment element configured to removably couple with the coupling member of the surgical helmet. The coupling member and attachment member may comprise reciprocal features, such as a protrusion and a recess. The protrusion and/or corresponding recess may comprise a curved or similarly shaped surface configured to resist decoupling of the attachment member and the coupling member when a force is applied to the surgical garment.
Surgical Helmet Assembly With A Reconfigurable Chin Bar
A surgical helmet assembly for use with a surgical garment including a transparent face shield. The surgical helmet assembly may comprise a surgical helmet with a removable and/or reconfigurable face frame including features for coupling the surgical garment to the surgical helmet. The face frame may comprise an upper beam and a lower beam connected by a pair of posts. The posts of the face frame may comprise a face frame coupler configured to removably couple the face frame to the surgical helmet. The face frame may also comprise a sliding mechanism for adjusting the position of the face frame and/or the transparent face shield relative to the surgical helmet. The surgical helmet assembly may also comprise a transparent face shield including a curvature adjustment mechanism and coupling feature for coupling the transparent face shield and/or the surgical garment to a surgical helmet without a face frame.
