The present technology includes: an imaging unit including a plurality of pixels having different spectral characteristics; and an exposure control unit setting information associated with exposure control on the plurality of pixels depending on specification information for specifying a kind of a measurement target. Alternatively, the present technology includes: an imaging unit including a plurality of pixels having different spectral characteristics; and an exposure control unit setting information associated with exposure control on the plurality of pixels on the basis of a predicted output value of each of the plurality of pixels based on a spectral characteristic related to a measurement target. The present technology is applicable to an imaging apparatus which senses vegetation, for example.

Ambient light sensor and method

According to one aspect, an ambient-light sensor includes a photodiode configured to generate an electrical signal according to an ambient light, a capacitive-feedback transimpedance amplifier connected at its input to the photodiode for receiving a signal generated by the photodiode and for generating as an output an amplified signal from the signal generated by the photodiode, and an auto-zero switch at the input of the capacitive-feedback transimpedance amplifier. The ambient-light sensor further includes a control circuit including a bootstrap circuit configured to receive an initial positive- or zero-voltage logic control signal, and then generate, from this initial logic control signal, an adapted logic control signal having a first positive voltage level and a second negative voltage control level for controlling the auto-zero switch.

OPTICAL PULSE DESIGN METHOD FOR HIGH-FIDELITY MANIPULATION OVER ENSEMBLE QUBITS
20230025745 · 2023-01-26 ·

The present invention discloses an optical pulse design method for high-fidelity manipulation over ensemble qubits, so that fast and efficient two-color optical pulses that have high robustness against frequency detuning and a laser intensity fluctuation are constructed by using an inverse engineering method based on a Lewis-Riesenfeld invariant, and using a perturbation theory and a concept of a system error sensitivity. The pulses can be applied in an inhomogeneously broadened three-level system to create an arbitrary superposition state of ensemble qubits with a high fidelity. During action of the pulse, quantum manipulation has stronger robustness against instantaneous changes or spatial nonuniform distribution of a laser intensity. The robustness can increase a signal-to-noise ratio of a detected signal and reduce experimental difficulties. In addition, the time that the qubits are in an excited state is significantly reduced, which can greatly reduce a decoherence effect of the qubits and ensure high-fidelity manipulation.
