The sleeve portion is configured to go around an arm of a patient. The sleeve portion includes an open top end configured to receive and cover an arm of the patient into a hollow interior of the sleeve portion, and a bottom end. The glove portion is connected to the bottom end of the sleeve portion. The glove portion is configured to receive and cover the hand of the patient. The sleeve portion and the glove portion are configured to cover the intravenous access device while connected to the arm or hand of the patient. The securing system is configured to keep the patient from removing the arm cover glove device.
GARMENT SYSTEM PROVIDING BIOMETRIC MONITORING FOR MEDICAL CONDITION ASSESSMENT
A garment (e.g., a shirt) for monitoring biometric properties of the wearer of the garment is disclosed. The garment may include sensors for monitoring or assessing the vital signs and body position of the wearer. A processor associated with the garment may provide an output indicative of an assessed condition of the wearer based on the assessed vital signs and the assessed body position of the wearer of the fabric. The garment may include an injector assembly that is used to administer a drug injection to the wearer when the assessed condition indicates that the wearer is in an alert condition.
GARMENT SYSTEM PROVIDING BIOMETRIC AND ENVIRONMENTAL MONITORING FOR MEDICAL CONDITION ASSESSMENT

Adaptable protective garment
An adaptable protective garment is configured to be donned by a user to cover and identify a sensitive portion of the user. The adaptable protective garment broadly includes an outer garment layer, an inner garment layer, and exposed indicia. The outer garment layer covers the sensitive portion when the garment is donned. At least one of the garment layers defines an interior pocket that is covered by the outer garment layer when the garment is donned so as to be hidden from view. The exposed indicia is secured to the exterior surface of the outer garment layer and is viewable when the garment is donned. The exposed indicia is located adjacent the interior pocket to visibly identify the location of the interior pocket along the exterior surface.
HEALTH MONITORING GARMENT AND SYSTEM
A health monitoring garment is provided. The health monitoring garment includes an article of clothing comprising at least one compression section to provide a snug fit against a person wearing the article of clothing and a sensor island. The sensor island includes stretchable circuitry, two or more sensors, one or more power supplies, and optionally one or more wireless communication modules within a self-contained unit. At least one of the sensors comprises a stretchable sensor which may be a respiration sensor. The sensor unit may be provided independent of the health monitoring garment or as a complete system. The sensor island and compression section of the article of clothing also include fasteners of complementary geometries for reversible attachment and disengagement of the sensor island from the compression section.
Surgical Modesty Garment and Support Bra
A modular brassiere that serves as both a modesty garment and an easily-donned support garment. The modular bra includes an elongated support band that is preferably made of elastic material. Hook-and-loop type of engaging panels are used to secure the band around the user's chest. A separate strap assembly may be added to transfer load to one or more of the user's shoulders. The support band includes a proximal end and a distal end. A pocket is preferably included, proximate the distal end. The user can place one or more fingers into this pocket to assist in faming the device. A grip panel is preferably included as well. The grip panel includes a strap loop which the user can employ to also assist in donning the device.
Medical Gown
A gown is provided including non-woven fabric having a front portion, a rear portion, said rear portion ending in a lower edge, and a head insertion aperture that is between the front portion and the rear portion. The gown includes an opening in the rear portion; this opening is formed at the lower edge and extends upwards towards the head insertion aperture, and is configured to assist the wearing in donning the gown. There is a bridge extending across the rear portion at least partially between the opening and the head insertion aperture. This bridge is configured to tear and split the rear portion when the front portion is pulled away from the wearer.
Patient-Warming Gown
A non-inflating flexible warm air distribution manifold that attaches to the patient side of patient gown. This manifold is configured to receive warmed air the of the warm-air receiving orifice and to distribute the warm air over a wide area of the patient side of the gown. By one approach the manifold comprises a flexible baffle. This baffle can be disposed on the patient side of the gown office proximal (in fact, opposite) the warm-air receiving orifice. The baffle has two or more sides that are secured to the gown and two or more sides that are not secured to the gown. Warm air entering the gown through the warm-air receiving orifice can readily pass through the sides that are not secured to the gown while the warm air entering the gown is largely impeded from passing through the sides that are secured to the gown.
WEARABLE ELECTRONIC GARMENTS AND METHODS OF MAKING SAME
An electronic garment includes an elastic textile garment configured to be worn on anatomy of an associated wearer. The elastic textile garment has an inner surface arranged to contact the anatomy when the elastic textile garment is worn on the anatomy. Electrodes are secured to the inner surface of the elastic textile garment. Each electrode includes at least an exposed portion of an insulated electrically conductive thread that is sewn onto or into the elastic textile garment. An electrically conductive polymer electrode material, such as a mixed ionic-electronic conducting (MIEC) material, is arranged to contact the electrodes, for example as an inner compression sleeve liner coated or infused with the MIEC material. The elastic textile garment and the electrically conductive threads may be formed together by three-dimensional (3D) knitting. A scent may be added to the elastic textile garment.
Medical Gown
The invention relates to a medical gown for a hospital patient, the medical gown comprising: a top part arranged to cover a patient's torso, the top part comprising sleeves and a front-facing opening with a wrap-around fastening; and a bottom part, separate to the top part and arranged to extend from patient's waste downwards to cover at least a portion of the patient's legs; wherein the top part comprises at least one slit positioned in a back or side portion of the top part and arranged to allow medical examination of the patient's torso through the slit without removal of the top part. The medical gown according to the present invention allows a clinician to perform a full systematic medical examination of a patient, without requiring the patient to remove any part of the gown.
