DIALYSIS GARMENT
A dialysis garment is provided. The garment includes opposed openings formed in the upper aim/shoulder area of the garment. The openings, which are selectively closeable, allow for the insertion of dialysis equipment while the garment is worn by the patient. The garment itself is insulated and may includes removable linings. The openings are configured to appear as aesthetic alterations.
Surgical modesty garment and support bra
A modular brassiere that serves as both a modesty garment and an easily-donned support garment. The modular bra includes an elongated support band that is preferably made of elastic material. Hook-and-loop type of engaging panels are used to secure the band around the user's chest. A separate strap assembly may be added to transfer load to one or more of the user's shoulders. The support band includes a proximal end and a distal end. A pocket is preferably included, proximate the distal end. The user can place one or more fingers into this pocket to assist in donning the device. A grip panel is preferably included as well. The grip panel includes a strap loop which the user can employ to also assist in donning the device.
Clothing
To make available clothing that supports the wearer's muscles to enable capacity for and flexibility in movement to be improved in situations such as during sports, during heavy lifting, or being under nursing care. Clothing involving the present invention is furnished with an upper-body piece for covering at least a portion of the upper half of the body, and an upper-body support unit formed on the upper-body piece. The upper-body support unit includes an upper-body first support section situated in sites following at least a portion of the psoas major muscles an upper-body second support section situated in sites following the supraspinatus muscles, and an upper-body third support section situated in sites following the teres major muscles.
QUICK-RELEASE CONSTANT CARE GARMENT
A quick-release garment includes a front piece having a first attachment portion, and a back piece having a second attachment portion configured to detachably connect with the first attachment portion. The front piece and the back piece are configured to form an enclosure that is attachable and detachable directly from a torso portion of a living body. The quick-release garment can include one or more of fasteners, magnets, buttons and/or a zipper to provide the detachable connection of the first attachment portion and the second attachment portion.
MEDICAL APPARATUS
Medical apparatuses for securing, protecting, retaining, and/or concealing various medical devices such as catheters or electrical leads are disclosed herein. The medical apparatus can be a garment which for use by a patient having a central venous catheter in place. Medical garments as disclosed herein can be used for a wide variety of medical devices attached to a patient, by implantation or otherwise, for varying lengths of time. Medical garments described herein may be used with any of a variety of medical devices which include or comprise one or more conduits used for medical treatment or diagnosis, including conduits which comprise catheters as well as electrical conduits such as electrical leads.
BACK SUPPORT DEVICE
A back support device for supporting a lower back of a user may include an elastic strap, a first clasping element attached to a first end of the elastic strap, a second clasping element slidably disposed over the elastic strap and configured to releasably engage the first clasping element to form a continuous loop, and a buckle element secured to a second end of the elastic strap. The buckle element is slidably disposed on a medial portion of the elastic strap for adjusting a perimeter length of the continuous loop. The continuous loop is movable between a first position in which the continuous loop has a first perimeter length and a second position in which the continuous loop has a second perimeter length via elastic elongation. The first perimeter length is less than the second perimeter length.
Intravenous tube compatible garment device
An intravenous tube compatible garment device for concealing intravenous tubing using a shirt with a flap includes a shirt. The shirt has a front surface. A flap is positioned on the front surface. A top edge of the flap is stitched to the flap and the bottom edge of the flap can flip over. A hidden area is positioned between the flap and the shirt. An opening is positioned in the hidden area. An intravenous tube can be threaded through the opening of the hidden area. A button of the hidden area can retain the flap to the shirt by inserting into a hole of the flap. A zipper is positioned on the front surface. A path of the zipper goes from the base of the shirt to the opening of the hidden area of the flap.
Medical apparatus
A medical apparatus can include a garment having a body portion with an outward facing surface and an inward facing surface and defines an access opening. The access opening provides access from the outward facing surface to the inward facing surface. An anchor secured on the outward facing surface can be configured for releasable securement of a first portion of a medical device. An outer panel can span at least a portion of the access opening and define a selectively closesable pocket configured to retain a second portion of the medical device. The garment can have a sleeve that defines an opening through which a third portion of the medical device extending through the arm opening can be routed and secured.
GOWN
A garment, particularly a garment useful in a medical setting, comprising a gown that provides an acceptable barrier between a wearer and certain contaminants as well as easy doffing, the gown having a neck opening, two sleeves, a body portion including a front body portion and a back body portion, one or more panels, and/or one or more doffing features.
GARMENT PROVIDING A BIASING FORCE ON A TRANSDUCER ARRAY
A system and method are herein described. The system comprises two or more transducer arrays, each of the two or more transducer arrays comprising one or more first connector; a garment comprising a supporting layer and one or more second connector; a pump configured to selectively provide a fluid at one or more predetermined pressure; an inflatable component comprising one or more bladder and supported by the supporting layer at a location associated with the treatment area, the one or more bladder biased to a neutral position and configured to expand to an inflated position based in part on the one or more predetermined pressure, the one or more bladder in the inflated position providing a biasing pressure against a particular transducer array to cause the particular transducer array to conform to a subject's body; and a tube configured to provide fluid communication between the pump and the inflatable component.
