Patient Clothing System with Integrated Lifting Features
A clothing system including an upper body garment and a lower body garment. The upper body garment has a neck portion that extends about a central axis from a head of a patient towards to feet of the patient. The upper body garment includes a pair of shoulder coverings, a torso covering, and a plurality of first fasteners. The plurality of first fasteners is configured to be transitioned so that each of the shoulder coverings may be separated to provide access to the upper torso and/or arm of a patient. The lower body garment includes a pair of leg coverings, a rise, an access covering, and a plurality of second fasteners. The rise includes a window spaced apart from a waist retainer positioned at the top of the rise and covered by an access covering selectively retained by the plurality of second fasteners to provide access to the lower body.
CARDIAC IMPLANTABLE ELECTRONIC DEVICE POCKET COMPRESSION APPARATUS AND METHOD OF MITIGATING LOCALIZED BLEEDING USING SAME
An apparatus and method for mitigating pocket bleeding and hematoma formation in a patient. A wrap having a block is secured around the torso of the patient to align the block with a torso area. The wrap includes a first portion extending laterally around the torso and a second portion extending over the shoulder and connecting to the first portion. The block is secured within a pouch of the wrap over the torso area. The first and second portions are adjustable to apply an adjustable force to the block that produces a corresponding adjustable pressure on the torso area. The applied pressure is high enough to hinder blood flow to the torso area to promote clotting at the torso area and low enough to permit blood flow to the torso area to promote healing.
Head and neck compression therapy system
A compression garment system and method that may include a head garment portion configured to be donned on a head of a body. The compression garment and method may further include a neck garment portion configured to be donned on a neck of the body. A controller may be configured to control pressure applied by each of one or more head pressure applying regions and/or each of one or more neck pressure applying regions to move lymph at least from the head towards the neck.
Immobilizing sleep garment assembly
An immobilizing sleep garment assembly includes a vest is wearable on a user when the user is recovering from shoulder surgery. A plurality of chest mating members is each vertically oriented on the vest. A plurality of first straps is each disposed on the vest and a plurality of second straps is each of the second straps is disposed on the vest. Each of the first straps is releasably matable to a respective one of the second straps to secure the vest around the user's upper torso. A glove is provided that can be worn on a respective one of the user's hands. A glove mating member is coupled to the glove and the glove mating member releasably engages the chest mating members at a desired location on the plurality of chest mating members to restrain the user's arm for sleeping while recovering from the shoulder or arm surgery.

GARMENT FOR USE WITH STOMAS
Disclosed herein are form-fitting garments configured to hold an ostomy pouch close to the body via a shaped interior pocket creating a barrier between the pouch and skin of an individual. The garment may include a plurality of pockets such that an unused pocket may serve to hold additional supplies. The garment is preferably configured to have a maximum stretch in the horizontal direction allowing for the expansion of the pouch while having minimal stretching in the vertical direction to prevent the interior pocket and garment from sagging under the weight of the pouch.

Garments that can be readily put on and are of use by the physically disabled utilize, among other things, pulley systems, magnetic snaps, and magnetic straps. Such elements may be used separately or in combination of two more thereof. The pule systems can be used to readily adjust a length or a circumference of a portion of the garments. The magnetic snaps disclosed herein allow a wearer to easily open and close garments by interlocking two magnetic snaps that neatly fit into each other without having to worry about the snaps attached to an unwanted object. The magnetic straps can be used to secure a disposition of a strap that adjusts a position of a portion of garments. The pulley system comprises at least one strap and a channel that surrounds the at least one strap. The strap slides within the channel to push or pull a target portion that is attached to the strap.
