CLEANING AREA ESTIMATION DEVICE AND METHOD FOR ESTIMATING CLEANING AREA
A cleaning area estimation device (30) includes an estimation unit (33) that estimates dirt information (D2) about an inside of a cleaning area on the basis of image information (D1) obtained by imaging a cleaning area by an imaging device (10), and a generation unit (34) that generates map information (D3) indicating a map of the dirt information about the cleaning area on the basis of the estimated time-series dirt information (D2).
THERMAL IMAGING ASSET INSPECTION SYSTEMS AND METHODS
Various techniques are provided performing temperature inspections of assets, such as temperature-sensitive industrial equipment. In one example, a method includes receiving, at a portable device, inspection instructions associated with an asset at a location in an environment. The method also includes displaying, at the portable device, the asset in an augmented reality format to guide a user of the portable device to the location. The method also includes capturing, by a thermal imager associated with the portable device, a thermal image of the asset when the thermal imager is aligned with the asset. The method also includes extracting, from the thermal image, at least one temperature measurement associated with the asset. Additional methods and systems are also provided.
THERMAL IMAGING TEST ARTICLE
In an example, a thermal imaging test article comprises a block configured to be attached to a blackbody on a back side of the block, the block having a variable thickness to represent facial features of a human face, the block including a cutout to allow a thermal imaging device to see the blackbody behind the block through the cutout, and one or more heaters thermally coupled to the block to produce heat to heat the block. The variable thickness of the block and the heat produced by the one or more heaters are selected to simulate thermally the human face on a front side of the block.
APPARATUS AND METHODOLOGIES FOR IMPROVED DETECTION OF IMPORTANT BIOLOGICAL STATES IN ANIMALS
Embodiments herein are generally related to apparatus and methodologies for improved screening of important biological states in animals. The apparatus and methodologies comprise the use of high-resolution infrared thermography images collected about an animal to obtain both thermal information and behavioural information about the animal, wherein both thermal and behavioural information can be used to generate a comprehensive thermal prolife value that is indicative of the biologically important state in the animal.
TEMPERATURE REFERENCE SYSTEMS AND METHODS THEREOF FOR THERMAL IMAGING
The disclosure relates to various temperature reference systems capable of generating at least one reference temperature. Such systems may provide the reference temperature to an IR camera which may then use the reference temperature in measuring a temperature of a target who has an unknown temperature. More particularly, this disclosure discloses various temperature reference units or their pink bodies of which temperature is to be detected and used as the reference temperature by the IR camera, and various configurations and methods of preventing or minimizing inherent errors which are caused by thermal conduction as well as thermal convection on and across such a temperature reference unit. This disclosure also relates to various methods of fabricating, installing, and using the pink bodies, temperature reference units, and temperature reference systems, in conjunction with an IR camera, a processor or other thermal imaging equipment.
MULTI-SENSOR OCCLUSION-AWARE TRACKING OF OBJECTS IN TRAFFIC MONITORING SYSTEMS AND METHODS
Systems and methods for tracking objects though a traffic control system include a plurality of sensors configured to capture data associated with a traffic location, and a logic device configured to detect one or more objects in the captured data, determine an object location within the captured data, transform each object location to world coordinates associated with one of the plurality of sensors; and track each object location using the world coordinates using prediction and occlusion-based processes. The plurality of sensors may include a visual image sensor, a thermal image sensor, a radar sensor, and/or another sensor. An object localization process includes a trained deep learning process configured to receive captured data from one of the sensors and determine a bounding box surrounding the detected object and output a classification of the detected object. The tracked objects are further transformed to three-dimensional objects in the world coordinates.

BUILDING SYSTEM WITH CREDENTIAL AND BODY TEMPERATURE VERIFICATION FEATURES
A building system, such as an elevator system, a physical access control system, or a combined elevator and physical access control system, has a controller system to control the building system to perform a building action, and a credential acquisition unit to acquire a credential presented by a user. The building system includes a camera system having a thermographic camera, which generates an infrared image of a face of the user, and an image processing system. The image processing system processes the infrared image to determine if the user's face shows a temperature value that is higher than a set threshold temperature value. The controller system enables or disables the building action as a function of the acquired user credential and the result signal.
