MOTOR TEMPERATURE ESTIMATION SYSTEM, MOTOR TEMPERATURE ESTIMATION METHOD, AND MOTOR TEMPERATURE ESTIMATION PROGRAM
A motor temperature estimation system includes a first temperature time series data generation unit that generates first temperature time series data based on temperature data acquired by a temperature sensor that measures a temperature of a motor, a resistance value time series data generation unit that generates resistance value time series data based on the first temperature time series data, a second temperature time series data generation unit that generates second temperature time series data by changing parameters for estimating and calculating the temperature of the motor based on the resistance value time series data, and a parameter determination unit that determines the parameters by comparing the first temperature time series data and the second temperature time series data.
System and apparatus for determining ambient temperatures for a fluid analyte system
A system and method for rapidly determining ambient temperature in a fluid-analyte meter. The meter includes a housing defining an interior space and an area for receiving a fluid sample. A processor and a first temperature sensor are disposed within the interior space of said the housing. A second temperature sensor is disposed on the housing. One or more processors are configured to determine a first temperature value from temperature data received from the first temperature sensor. The processor(s) are also configured to apply a variable current to a temperature-adjustment source such that the second temperature sensor is adjusted to a predetermined steady-state temperature value different from the first temperature value. The processor(s) are further configured to determine an ambient temperature of an exterior space of the housing based on the applied variable current, pre-determined steady-state temperature, and received first temperature values.

Systems, Methods, and Apparatus for Sensing Environmental Conditions and Alerting a User in Response
A system for monitoring one or more environmental conditions associated with a working environment includes a wearable device configured to be worn by a worker and one or more environmental sampling sensors configured to monitor the one or more environmental conditions associated with the working environment and determine environmental sampling information based on the monitoring of the one or more environmental conditions. The system further includes a positioning sensor configured to determine positioning information for the worker, the positioning information for the worker including information regarding positioning of the worker relative to the working environment. The system includes a controller configured to receive the environmental sampling information, receive the positioning information from the positioning sensor, and determine, based on the environmental sampling information and the positioning information, if the one or more environmental conditions necessitates an alert to be presented to the worker.
