Garments with post-operative drain compartments along an interior of the garment are manufactured and provided to a pediatric (child or adolescent) patients after surgery. The garment has a first plurality of post-operative drain compartments on a first side of the garment and a second plurality of post-operative drain compartments on a second side of the garment. Each of the post-operative drain compartments supports a reservoir of a post-operative drain. After a surgical procedure involving post-operative drains as part of recovery, a child or adolescent wears the garment and inserts the reservoir of a post-operative drain into one of the post-operative drain compartments. The garment supports at least four post-operative drains. One of the post-operative drain compartments is disposed above another one of the post-operative drain compartments. Each of the openings post-operative drain compartments remains open and does not include any fastening mechanism.

Hospital gowns and method of making the same

Hospital gowns and methods of making hospital gowns are provided. For example, a hospital gown is provided that includes a front panel comprising an exterior surface and an opposite interior surface and a back panel comprising an exterior surface and an opposite interior surface. The front panel can be releasably securable to the back panel at different locations to create a gown with the interior surface of the front panel facing the interior surface of the back panel to form a releasable right shoulder portion, a releasable left shoulder portion, a releasable right side portion and releasable left side portion of the gown.

The pediatric position holder includes a central panel extending longitudinally from a cranial portion to a caudal portion, arm flaps extending outwardly from opposing sides of the central panel, and leg flaps extending outwardly from opposing sides of the central panel. The arm flaps each include a proximal arm segment and a distal arm segment extending from the proximal arm segment. The leg flaps each include a proximal leg segment that defines one cutout and a distal leg segment extending from the proximal leg segment. The pediatric restraint is configurable between an initial, open configuration and a second, closed configuration in which the distal arm segments of the arm flaps overlap one another, and the distal leg segment of each of the leg flaps is positioned within the cutout of the respective leg flap.

The therapy further comprises medical tubing. The premature infant clothing comprises a plurality of panels and a plurality of detachable fasteners. The plurality of panels are interconnected using the plurality of detachable fasteners to form a plurality of garments. Each of the plurality of panels is a textile. The plurality of detachable fasteners removably attach one or more panels selected from the plurality of panels to form a garment selected from the plurality of garments. The plurality of detachable fasteners are adjustable such that any detachable fastener selected from the plurality of detachable fasteners can be reconfigured to accommodate the insertion of the medical tubing through the selected detachable fastener.

SECURING POCKET FOR LOOSE PORTION OF MEDICAL TUBING

A securing pocket for managing the loose portion of a medical tube, such as a Nasogastric/Nasojejunal tube, while an implanted portion of the medical tube remains attached to the patient. The loose portion of the medical tube has a coiled section disposed within a receptacle formed between flexible front and rear panels. An integral flap overlaps the front panel to selectively close the receptacle and may be secured with a snap connector. Jam cleats are located along left and right edges adjacent a top edge of the receptacle. Each jam cleat forms a breach in the receptacle through which a tethered section of the loose medical tube extends. The jam cleats are configured to apply a progressive wedge force on the tethered section of the loose medical tube in response to tension along the tube. The jam cleat has flexible sides formed in a V-shape.

Braces for immobilizing clavicle fractures in infants may include a garment of fabric sized and shaped to extend around a torso and along at least one arm of an infant. The garment may include a first closure configured to secure the garment around the torso of the infant, a second closure configured to secure the garment over a shoulder corresponding to a fractured clavicle of the infant, and a sleeve configured to extend around an upper and lower arm of the infant on a same lateral side of the garment as the second closure. The sleeve may include at least a third closure configured to secure the sleeve around the upper and lower arm of the infant. A portion of the sleeve may be affixed to a portion of the garment, the portion of the garment to which the sleeve may be affixed being located over the torso of the infant when the garment is secured around the torso of the infant.
