SAFETY CIRCUIT FOR DC LEAKAGE DETECTION
A safety circuit, in the form of a switch box, for coupling with a catheter, detects DC leakage or emission from an amplifier circuit of the catheter, and switches a switch to immediately terminates (cuts-off) power to the amplifier circuit. This immediate power termination instantaneously stops DC leakage, which if left unchecked or otherwise undetected, may reach the heart, and disrupt its electrical activity and cause other damage.
SYSTEMS AND METHODS FOR AUTOMATIC SPRAY QUENCHING
A spray quenching system including a quench box configured to receive a part for quenching. The system may include mechanical arms disposed within the quench box and thermocouples disposed on the mechanical arms that may be moved to contact the part surface. The system may include non-contact temperature sensors within the quench box that measure the temperature part surface, and spray nozzles within the quench box that spray the part with a quenching fluid. The system may include a controller in electronic communication with the mechanical arms, the spray nozzles, the thermocouples, and the non-contact temperature sensors, that is configured to initiate a quenching process, receive temperature data, analyze the temperature data to determine a temperature difference value, determine that the temperature difference value exceeds a threshold temperature difference value, and adjust the quenching process if the temperature difference value exceeds the threshold temperature difference value.
SYSTEMS AND METHODS FOR SENSOR MONITORING AND SENSOR-RELATED CALCULATIONS
Systems and methods for temperature monitoring and environmentally related calculations are disclosed herein. A system according to embodiments herein may include a memory, a network interface, and one or more processors. The system may receive one or more environmental readings from a sensor taking readings at an environmentally controlled area. The system may further determine a timestamp corresponding to each of the one or more readings and calculate, using the one or more readings and their corresponding timestamps, an exposure of a good stored within the temperature-controlled area. The system may further determine that the calculated exposure of the good has surpassed a pre-determined exposure threshold for the good and send an electronic message configured to indicate such determination to a user. The system may use a neural network to predict future readings and/or events based on current readings and use the predictions in methods described herein.
TEMPERATURE DETECTION CIRCUIT AND SEMICONDUCTOR DEVICE
There is provided a technique that includes: a first voltage generation circuit configured to generate a first voltage having a positive temperature characteristic; a second voltage generation circuit that includes a first MOSFET having a gate of a first conductive type and a second MOSFET having a gate of a second conductive type different from the first conductive type, and configured to generate a second voltage having a negative temperature characteristic based on a difference in gate threshold voltages between the first MOSFET and the second MOSFET; and a comparator configured to output a temperature detection signal indicating a high/low relationship between a detection target temperature and a predetermined temperature, based on the first voltage and the second voltage.
Storage device which controls memory according to temperature, and method of controlling the same
A storage device includes a memory and a memory controller which transmits a command to the memory. The memory includes at least one memory cell array, a memory temperature sensor which measures a temperature of the memory, and a control logic. The control logic outputs a busy signal in response to the command, receives the temperature of the memory from the memory temperature sensor in response to the command, and determines whether to perform a command operation according to the command on the memory cell array based on the received temperature of the memory.
Conductor support structure position monitoring system
A sensor unit includes an orientation sensor, an electronic processor coupled to the orientation sensor, and memory coupled to the electronic processor and storing support structure configuration data and instructions. The instructions, when executed by the electronic processor, cause the sensor unit to monitor a position of a conductor support structure associated with the sensor unit based on data from the orientation sensor and generate an alert message responsive to determining that the position violates a position threshold. The position threshold is generated based on the support structure configuration data.

A method of controlling a force sensor system to define at least one button implemented by at least one force sensor, the method comprising: receiving a force sensor input; determining a gradient of the force sensor input; and controlling the force sensor system based on the determined gradient.

In examples, a circuit comprises a first current source coupled to a voltage source node. The circuit comprises a resistor having a first resistor terminal and a second resistor terminal, where the first resistor terminal is coupled to the first current source. The circuit comprises a bipolar transistor having a base, a collector, and an emitter, with the base coupled to the first resistor terminal, the emitter coupled to the second resistor terminal, and the collector coupled to the voltage source node. The circuit comprises a second current source coupled to the emitter and the second resistor terminal, with the second current source coupled to a ground node. The circuit comprises a Schmitt trigger having an input coupled to the emitter, the second resistor terminal, and the second current source.

The apparatus and method include a controller that converts an operating current value supplied to the blower of the vehicle into a voltage value and diagnoses whether the blower fails based on the voltage value. Fire detection devices and systems and methods for their use
A fire detection device includes a vented detector housing, with an opening defined in a mounting base. A substance exhaust channel in air flow communication with the opening extends upward from the mounting base. A pressure release turbine includes an impeller operatively disposed in the channel. A rotation sensor senses rotation of the impeller and generates an alert upon detection of a heat level indicated by rotation of the turbine rotor at a predetermined speed. A high pressure and/or heat louver disposed over the opening opens in response to a predetermined heat level. An actuator detects opening of the louver and generates an alert. A thermostatic device disposed in the housing senses, and generates an alert at, a predetermined heat level. A thermal imaging device disposed in the housing senses, and generates an alert at, a predetermined heat level.
