Bio-sensing integrated garment
Embodiments of the disclosure provide systems and methods for a garment comprising a fabric layer, a plurality of biometric sensors integrated into the fabric layer, and a connectivity layer integrated into the fabric layer. The connectivity layer can comprise signal conductors and power conductors coupled with each of the plurality of biometric sensors. The garment can further comprise a power source coupled with each of the power conductors and providing, via the power conductors of the connectivity layer, electrical power to each of the plurality of biometric sensors, a signal monitor coupled with the connectivity layer and receiving, via the signal conductors of the connectivity layer, a signal comprising biometric information from each of the plurality of biometric sensors, and a gateway coupled with the signal monitor, the gateway receiving the biometric information from the signal monitor and providing the biometric information to an external computer system.
SENSORIZED GARMENT
A sensorized garment is provided. The sensorized garment includes an wearable element on a skin having a hand-tightening or a closure device to securely constrain sensors, for example electrodes to detect electrophysiological signals, during a physical activity. The wearable element has a three-dimensional shape to uniquely define a right side and a left part of a circumferential zone when the wearable element is worn. The sensorized garment further includes a band carried by the circumferential zone, and at least one conductor connected between the sensor and a zone of the sensorized garment.
Method for Monitoring or Visualizing the Running Speed of an Athlete and Athletic Garment
The invention relates to a method for monitoring or visualizing the running speed (v) of an athlete (1). To determine the running speed of the athlete in an easy manner the proposed method comprises the steps: a) Providing a piece of garment (2) or a shoe (2′), which are worn by the athlete (1) during miming, wherein the piece of garment (2) or the shoe (2′) is provided with a coating (3) applied at an outer surface (4) of the piece of garment (2) or the shoe, wherein the coating (3) comprises at least one thermochromic dye or at least one liquid crystal, or wherein the piece of garment (2) or the shoe (2′) is made at least partially of a material, especially by a yarn, which comprises at least one thermochromic dye or at least one liquid crystal; b) Monitoring the color (C.sub.1, C.sub.2, C.sub.3) of the at least one thermochromic dye or liquid crystal during running of the athlete (1); c) Evaluating the running speed (v) of the athlete (1) on the basis of the actual color (C.sub.1, C.sub.2, C.sub.3) of the at least one thermochromic dye or liquid crystal. Furthermore, the invention relates to an athletic garment or shoe.
BIOMETRIC IDENTIFICATION BY GARMENTS HAVING A PLURALITY OF SENSORS
Biometric identification methods and apparatuses (including devices and systems) for uniquely identifying one an individual based on wearable garments including a plurality of sensors, including but not limited to sensors having multiple sensing modalities (e.g., movement, respiratory movements, heart rate, ECG, EEG, etc.).
SMART MASKS
A smart mask includes a face covering, an attachment member, one or more power source(s), an air circulation subsystem, an exhaust subsystem, and a controller. The face covering is configured to cover a face area of a wearer. The attachment member is configured to attach the face covering onto the face area of the wearer. The air circulation subsystem is powered by at least one of the one or more power source(s) and configured to filter outside air and draw the filtered outside air into the face area. The exhaust subsystem is placed below the air circulation subsystem and configured to purge exhaled air out of the face area. The controller is configured to control the air circulation subsystem.
GARMENT, MEASUREMENT APPARATUS AND MONITORING SYSTEM
A garment worn by a user includes a sensor material that includes a) an insulating material stretchable in a longitudinal direction and b) a conductive fiber having conductivity and coiled around the insulating material, and a plurality of connecting portions electrically connected to three or more portions of the conductive fiber, wherein at least a portion of the conductive fiber includes a fixing region fixed such that the fixing region does not stretch or shrink even when the insulating material stretches and shrinks, and at least two connecting portions of the plurality of connecting portions are electrically connected to each of two different portions of the fixing region.
Adjustable Hospital Gown
An adjustable hospital gown is designed to cover the bodies of users of varying shape and size. The gown has a torso-covering garment, a pair of backflaps, and an adjustable fastener. The torso-covering garment is used to cover the front side of the user's body. The pair of backflaps are connected along backflap seams that are positioned on opposite sides of the torso-covering garment. As a result, the pair of backflaps can be transitioned between an opened and a closed configuration. The adjustable fastener is connected in between one of the backflaps and the torso-covering garment such that the backflap can be repositioned to cinch the gown around the body of the user. By connecting the adjustable fastener to various anchor points, the size of the gown can be modified to accommodate user's of varying shape.
Body Support Wrap
A body support wrap adapted to encompass a body article of a user while elastically encompassing and supporting a fluid communication element, the body support wrap includes first and second flexible elastomeric surrounding sidewalls that are adjacent to one another and offset on an upper end forming a mouth opening and the first and second sidewalls are evenly displaced on a lower end forming a closed attachment, wherein an interior pocket is formed therebetween the first and second sidewalls that the fluid communication element is disposed through the mouth opening, wherein operationally via the first and second sidewalls elasticity the fluid communication element is held anyplace within the interior pocket in multiple positions adjacent to the user for the convenience and comfort of the user.
FACE MASK WITH SMART FEATURES AND FUNCTIONS
Masks for being worn by a person are described herein. The masks include a shell configured to cover a nose and a mouth of the person, at least a portion of the shell having sufficient transparency to provide for visual observation of the mouth of the person when the person is wearing the mask. The shell includes an inhale port configured to provide for air to pass from an environment into a cavity defined by the shell when the person wearing the mask inhales and an exhale port configured to provide for air to pass from the cavity to the environment when the person wearing the mask exhales. The masks also include a retaining element coupled to the shell for retaining the mask on the person.
